Frisco in Colorado is a small town close to several ski resorts. With fantastic scope for skiing and other outdoor pursuits as well as being a great base from which to explore Colorado and the Rocky Mountains, Frisco describes itself as the Main Street of the Rockies, and is a great place for a family holiday. The first stop for many tourists in Frisco will be the Frisco Nordic Center at the Peninsula Recreation Area, with facilities for skating, cross country skiing and snowshoeing throughout the winter months. The Breckenridge and Copper Mountain ski resorts are also nearby and provide all sorts of skiing and snowboarding opportunities. Any outdoor enthusiast will certainly find a huge range of ski trails and activities for all levels of experience and ability. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you can even take the whole family white water rafting! In the evenings, Frisco is a small town, but contains an impressive number of restaurants, shops and nightlife. And if you need a break from the slopes, the Frisco Historic Park & Museum is great for kids, a collection of preserved and reconstructed historic buildings which chart Frisco's development from trapper camp to mining town to its present day tourist haven.

We were a group of 4 adults that did a half-day e-bike rental to cycle around the Dillon Reservoir. The equipment was great. One rider had a problem with the seat height & wished it would have been addressed before going on the 18 mile ride. We went counter-clockwise, which we would recommend to tourists. Going up Swan Mountain was a breeze. The view heading down through the wooded area was amazing. We even had time to stop at a pull out, a beach & the Tiki Bar in Dillon. Everyone loved the e-bikes & wants to this activity again when we're in the area. Word of caution to those that cycle. The bikes & helmets do not have rear view mirrors. Overall, Pioneer provided a great experience & would rent from them again.

We've done family/friends ski trips for 20+ years. We've always used Antlers (previous name)/Breeze in Frisco, because of the simplicity of reserving our equipment online before our trip and the reasonable rental costs. This year we had a particularly excellent experience with the Breeze professional sales people: One of the friends on our trip had an unfortunate accident on our second day (broke four ribs - spent two days at St Anthony Hospital in Frisco). When we returned his skis and boots to breeze, and told them what happened, they immediately gave us two days' credit for the days he didn't AND gave me two days credit also, for the time I missed while attending to my friend at the hospital. I cannot recommend Breeze enough for their excellent customer service - truly beyond our expectations!

An amazing feeling to hike to the top, it is tiring and strenuous, but worth the view, recommend one or two walking sticks (more to help you keep your feet coming down than going up), lots of trees and rock formations, takes a couple hours, path is clear all the way to the top, you can take your dog - but it'll tire you out

The Frisco Adventure Park is minutes from Frisco's charming Main Street, and in the winter, hosts a lift assisted tubing hill and a beginner ski/ride hill, as well as over 45k of cross-country ski/snowshoe trails and horse drawn sleigh ride dinners. The beginner ski/ride hill located adjacent to the tubing hill offers lessons taught by Copper Mountain instructors in the most laid back and easy going environment possible- a friendly surface lift to get you up the hill, a cozy lodge, free parking right next to the hill and instructors who will help you graduate to the "big mountain" at Copper. But remember- you can tackle this hill without instructors if you choose, and it is perfect for kids and adults alike. The Adventure Park sits on the beautiful Frisco Peninsula and is surrounded by Dillon Reservoir affording unforgettable water and mountain views in every direction. And in the summer, the Frisco Adventure Park boasts great free amenities including miles of mountain biking/hiking/running trails, a bike park, a skate park and a disc golf course. Camping is also available on National Forest Service land on the Peninsula. The Adventure Park Day Lodge offers free bathrooms and a comfortable base camp for activities year-round and hosts special and private events including weddings, family reunions, bike/running races and birthdays.
Went tubing with wife and 19 & 16 yo boys. Was a lot of fun! Conveyor belt a must to bring you to top, and the speed you get on the lanes are fun! Covid restrictions applied, so reservations are needed which is great because it didn’t feel overcrowded at all. Would recommend for family fun!
