This is our favourite beach in the area. The sand is pure soft sand and the sea shelves very gradually making it ideal for young children. If you use the right side of the rocks (by the pedallos) the sea is much clearer. You can swim out quite far and still stand as it’s shallow for quite a way. There are activities available such as kayaking and our children have always enjoyed searching for crabs and fish amongst the rock pools. The cafes and bars are great and not too pricey. Only problem would be parking in the area but we have found a great little spot that charges €3 for the whole day which is to the right side behind some of the apartments and hotels.

A small holiday resort and fishing village. Not comercialised like other Costa Brava resorts. There are no large hotels and mass turism. The town has some small hotels and few quality restaurants along with a lovely beach.

A beautiful bay with a few cafes and restaurants, worth a visit and stop out of season. The beach is also very clean and well kept. The downside is limited parking so in high season either walk or go to one of the other beautiful beaches in the area.

Unspoilt quiet cove beach and a couple of local bars and restaurants. Avoid weekends if possible. Exclusive un-commercialised vibe. Loved it. Good for families.

Absolutely lovely! We went in July and the beach was beautiful and the sea was crystal clear. We didn't realise a part of it was a nudist beach until we walked to the top. That was amusing! Still I'd probably go again!
