After 10 hours driving from the capital Abidjan to the city of Man, finally i arrived with my friends. We hired a guide who was not very sure to accompany us to climb the DENT DE MAN (Tooth of Man). He said it is the sacred territory of the Yacoubas. Well this made us more curious. It was hot that day more than average which is usually extreem heat...but my heart was beating so high because i read so much about that place: archeology, geology, history, anthropology. I wanted to see it all. Lots of myths, secrets, mysteries. The legend of a notable that offered his daughter as a sacrifice to save the people of the city of man. The apes guarding a sacred land where no one can walk. The rope bridge that leads to a kingdom in another world. Many popular legends inherited from generation to generation circulating among the elders and passed on as exciting story telling to the kids. The few locals i met are conviced that this has actually happened in the remote past. I could not reach all the places i wanted to visit because it took me 5 hours walking and climbing on this site and the night was coming. The guide said ordered me to return to the village. He did not want us to stay there. I really regret not be able to complete my visit
