Book a homestay at the foot of mt timbac so that waking up for the sunrise will not be a problem. Start walking at 5 am. Walk to the sunrise viewing area is a short 10 minute walk. Ask your host for coffee and they would love to give u a thermos full. Coffee by the sunrise area would be lovely. Youll get 360 degrees majestic view of everything beautiful. Behold a sea of clouds in hues of gold and orange being blown by the wind following the contour of the mountain. Stay longer and youll get sunbeams sprollin over the mountain ranges and get another set of pictures. While on your there, go to the other side of the mountain. Youll get to see sayangan and images of the crucifixion by the calvary area. Traveling far and waking up early . . . Nothing compared to a glimpse of heaven in mt timbac.

I suggest you try this road during the morning as there are some parts f the road that have no street lights, so if you are new to the area, better steer clear of this tricky zigzag road. The advantages of travelling in the morning is that you'll enjoy the view of the mountains and you'll be able to see the famous lion's head and stop for a quick pic or a souvenir hunting. Better open your eyes when you drive pass thru this road so you won't miss any beautiful sight.
