We are an outdoor activity company in Valdres. During summer we offer a vide range of activities. Private groups, families, couple or solo travellers can find their new adventure with us. Availability for activities in and around Beitostølen, climbing park, river rafting, guided hikes, river walk, airbording, snowmobile and ski school. Education of snowsport instructors during the winter season. Snowboard, Alpine, Nordic skiing and telemark courses are running every year, with qualified ISIA instructors. We are accepting bookings in all our advertised activities, both for individuals and groups. Infection control measures and routines are implemented to ensure that safety is maintained. Bitihorn

Moderately demanding walking (no climbing or scrambling) ascent. Highly rewarding view from the summit towards Jotunheimen and Valdres. Length: approx. 4 km one way Duration: approx. 2 hrs up Altitude difference: ca. 550 meters Suitable for children: from 6-7 yrs. Follow road 51 North from Beitostolen in the direction of Bygdin. After approx. 10 km, you will see a parking lot on the left side of the road, opposite the Lappish Camp. From there, follow the T-marked path for about 1 km. After passing through a reindeer fence, the route up to the summit of Bitihorn turns left and uphill. (The T-marked path continues straight ahead to Yksendalsbu). The route to Bitihorn is clearly marked and not very challenging. However, it does get a little steeper near the top. Enjoy the panoramic view towards Bygdin, Jotunheimen, and most of the northern region of Valdres. Markings Cairnes and red markings on stones. Equipment Standard clothing for high mountain walks: Solid hiking boots, wind- and waterproof outer layer, warm sweater, hat, mittens, daypack. No special equipment required.

M/B Bitihorn Day Tour

M/B Bitihorn is a passenger boat from 1912 on the Bygdin lake in Vang in Valdres and Jotunheimen. The boat is registered for 98 passengers and runs from Bygdin to Eidsbugarden with a middle stop at Torfinnsbu. The season starts in late June and ends in the middle of September. Take a round trip on M/B Bitihorn to explore some of the beautiful sights in Jotunheimen or as a transport to for example Torfinnsbu to start one of many great hikes in Jotunheimen National Park.

Beitostolen Ski Center

The Beitostolen Ski Center is situated in the village center of Beitostolen. The center has easy access to 9 lifts and 12 runs, with slopes for beginners as well as the more advanced skiers. Separate childrens area. Cross-country as well as downhill ski rental is available.

Beautiful Beitostølen - slopes are perfect for children, families and beginners. Ski school is FANTASTIC - friendly and brilliant instructors. Might not suit advanced skiers but perfect for a family ski trip

Beito High Ropes Course is located in scenic surroundings in the Beito forest. There are three different trails marked green, red and black. The black trail is the most challenging of the three trails. Beitostølen Aktiv has a climbing area at Heklefjell mountain that can be found about 5 minutes by car from the center of Beitostølen. On Heklefjell there are routes suitable both for beginners and for the more experienced climber. At the start of the activity, your guide will give a safety briefing and instruction on how to climb in a safe and secure way. There will be the opportunity for you to eat your lunch during the trip.

Airboarding is the perfect activity for those who like speed and excitment! An airboard is an air-filled sledge with fixed handles. You lie on your stomach and use your body weight to steer and control the speed. Your guide will give you instructions on how to control the airboards as well as drive you up the slope each turn using snow scooters and sledges. From 10 years an upwards. We recommend wearing winter outdoor clothes and snow boots. Get the most out of your airboarding experience with a private session. We offer private airboarding sessions every day throughout the winter season. Great for solo travellers, families, and small groups of up to 6 people.

Rafting is a popular summer activity, and now you can raft in winter also! This however, is rafting with a twist. Substituting a river for a banked snow channel, this is the perfect activity for all you adrenaline sport enthusiasts. Snow rafting is a fun activity for all the family, both big and small (from 7 years). The thrill of jumping into the rafting boat and heading down the snowy slopes, has put a big smile on all the hundreds of participants who have taken the trip on our Snowrafting course. After completing several trips in the raft, guests will be able to relax around the fire in the tee-pee with a hot drink. All participants can borrow a helmet from us, or you can bring your own. Remember to wear clothes according to the weather conditions (i.e. clothes you would wear for skiing or snowboarding). Hat and gloves are a "must". Ski boots are not allowed to be worn, rather, we recommend wearing winter boots or snowboarding boots.
