We stayed in the cottages and used the track twice. My son was a complete starter, as was his friend and my hubby hasn't rode a bike for 25 years. All 3 were taught very well and catered for. I would highly recommend the Off Road Centre and the cottages, we will definately be returning. Great holiday. xxxxx

Bolberry Down has a network of paths running along high cliff tops with great views. This 1.7 mile South West Coast Path walk is relatively flat and the National Trust have undertaken work to ensure that the network of paths can be used by people in wheelchairs, or with buggies. In autumn and spring the heathland is full of wildflowers and birds.

Noticed this place on the map and as a orchid collector decided to visit. When we had arrived the hours had changed but the owner saw us outside and let us in. Very well laid out and plenty of choices. They were very well informed in the up keep of plants and were very helpful

We arranged a visit here for a friends 30th birthday to go quad biking. It was so so much fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and Alex the instructor was great fun. We were a group of 5 girls and that didn’t stop us getting covered in mud and going through huge ditches full of water. Highly recommend and will hopefully return again soon!

Booked my two teens and husband onto an hour session in the trees on Tuesday but it had to be rearranged. Unfortunately when we turned up, we had not been booked in but the guys there were incredibly professional and most helpful with Mike saying it was fine, he was there and available so not an issue at all. They gave a sense of immense confidence along with a chilled atmosphere which made my youngest feel safe as she slowly gained confidence going round the course. The course itself was challenging without being impossible and both of the guys up there (sorry for not catching the other chap’s name) helping my kids every step of the way. Can’t praise them highly enough and all for a really reasonable cost. Thanks so much for a really fun outing.

Beautiful woodland walk alongside a river on a very good path. When we were there it was great to see loads of youngsters swimming in the deep pools and obviously having a lot of fun.

The South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty covers 337 kilometres (130 square miles) of coastline, estuaries and countryside. It stretches from Berry Head in Brixham to Jennycliff in Plymouth. As well as being a place of fabulous views and fantastic countryside it is home to 34,000 people. The designation of An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, means that it is one of the best bits of countryside in the whole of England and Wales! And that's officially recognised by the UK government. South Devon AONB is part of a family of protected landscapes across Britain, which also includes our National Parks. There are 49 AONBs in the UK. These areas are protected to keep them special now and for the future. They are wonderful for wildlife and scenery but also places where people live, work, relax and take care of the countryside. The AONB management is coordinated by a Partnership Committee made up of local and national organisations, and community representatives from farming, business, parish council, voluntary and professional environmental organisations.

Wonderful place we stopped in Dawlish Warren and the walk into Dawlish takes about 45 minutes and the path is between the sea and the railway line. There are lots of little shops and cafes and pubs in Dawlish. In the Warren there are several pubs and a nature reserve there is also a little funfair and a couple of shops and an arcade. The beach is sandy and slopes to the sea the views are lovely across the estuary to Exmouth.
