Portstewart Strand holds the prestigious Blue Flag award for the management, cleanliness and quality of water and it is also one of the few remaining beaches in Ireland where cars still have access and permission to drive onto the beach. We arrived early to walk this route as we were warned it can get busy. Thankfully it was a lovely day. The route is well sign posted and we used the audio guide which is very easy to use. Some of the info about the first guides and the hotels etc is interesting. This is at the end of the audio recording so don't miss it. Fantastic views and they have different routes geared to easy to difficult. Great walk, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Spent the morning here for my sons 9th birthday party. Even thought storm Denis was in full flow, it didn’t dampen the part mood. Activities included quad bike riding, disco bouncy castle, reptile handling, barrel rides followed by delicious food. Brian and the team could not have been more helpful - everything we needed (including candles for the cake) wasn’t a problem. Brian and his young assistant were amazing with the kids and ensured the boys and girls were kept well entertained. Couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough. Such great value for money. Can’t wait to visit again. The beautiful barn tea room is a great wee spot for a cuppa whilst the kids are enjoying the activities. Fun for all the family. ????????????????
