Zagreb got its start as two medieval fortress towns atop hills overlooking the Sava River, and was reborn in the Baroque period as center of business, perfectly located on routes connecting Central Europe to the Adriatic Sea. These days, Zagreb is the heart of contemporary Croatia’s culture, art, sports, and academics, but its history is not forgotten. The unique blend of medieval towers, 19th century palaces, open-air markets, and ancient cathedrals, make Zagreb the perfect city to explore.

I just returned from Zagreb and had a really enjoyable evening at Bornstein. I had wanted to visit a wine bar and found Bornstein when doing some research. Bornstein is located about 10 minutes walking distance past the cathedral of Zagreb. The neighborhood is very pleasant. The wine bar, set back off the road, has a nice selection of wines and food. There is also a good wine shop. This place is over 200 years old. Our waiter was well educated on Croatian wines and helped us pick a flight and explained the wines to us. Some nights Bornstein has music as well. I highly recommend a visit when you're visiting Zagreb.

Great music, amazing atmosphere, polite service and a great DJ. Also there is some cool decor on the walls like guitars and Bart Simpson. Would totally recommend it to everyone who likes trap or rock music.

Vintage Industrial Bar is a favourite amongst Zagreb's locals and it's the best in town for alternative live music! They've booked shows for bands such as Madball, Cannibal Corpse, Sick Of It All, The Exploited, Crowbar, Agnostic Front, Brant Bjork, Tinariwen, Elder, Egypt, Jello Biafra, Yawning Man and loads of others... Check out what have we planned for you - It will be exactly what you'll come there for!
Beautiful summer garden with cool garden party's and acoustic concerts. Also inside the club is a beautiful industrial interior with a cool concert area. It's a right place to have a great night out.❤️

If you haven’t been to Hugo’s,then this is the number 1 place on your list to taste the best Gin Tonic in Zagreb,to find attractive girls and spend some good time with your friends. There is always a good chance you’ll find a young manager of this place looking for you to feel comfortable and he had some good recommendations for tequila shots. Also, a very nice interior. We’re coming back for sure!
