Lovely cosy spot. Nice fire. Good music on and great atmosphere. My partners local and I can see why. I loved it here. Locals are so welcoming. Loved chatting to them all. I'll be visiting again soon.

The Old Grainstore is a Traditional Irish Pub steeped in history. We specialise in Whiskey and Gin and offer exceptional service with a smile. We cater for sports enthusiasts showing all major sports events. There is and old grainstore in the beer garden which was in use until the 1950's. The rail tracks from the grain carts can still be seen in the beer garden.

Don't let the outside fool you with the narrow doors and groceries in the front of the store. Keep walking back to the bar and you will be rewarded with the freshest pint of Guinness you've ever had complete with the perfect creamy head. We had six in our group and after two weeks of traveling all around Ireland, including the Guinness Storehouse Gravity Bar, we voted the pint we had at Moran's as the BEST in our travels. The locals at the bar were friendly & talkative. Well worth a visit. Sláinte!

An absolute hidden gem!!!! Stunning location and view from front of apartments. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartments 2 minutes walk away. From Helm Bar. The apartment was well equipped for our requirements of a short break, the apartment was clean comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff! who were very friendly and efficient Soda bread cheese butter tea coffee bottle of wine and pint of milk nice touch on arrival and provided a midnight snack after a few drinks in the bar, Beds perfect in fact everything was perfect and we will return. Price included breakfast which again was perfect, We also ate dinner in the restaurant/ bar every evening and each time the food was delicious and of excellent standard Checking in and out was efficient We were also advised that the Helm was able to offer minibus collection dropoff to knock airport? Parking for hire car plentiful and free on road outside. For us this was the best value accommodation experience we have enjoyed in Ireland. The owners or those running it have made a few small additions which really do add to the overall customer experience, coupled with efficient and friendly staff, a stunning location, good value restaurant and bar, coming back is a no brainer just be for longer with more travelling companions next time ????
