Located just 25 minutes south of downtown Omaha on highway 75, The Hop Yard is the perfect escape to a picturesque country setting. We invite you to come on down for a true taste of Nebraska's "Good Life." Established in 2013 in Plattsmouth, NE, Midwest Hop Producers began as a hop farm enterprise that provides high-quality whole-leaf and pelletized hops to everyone from craft brewers to homebrewers. In 2015, we opened The Hop Yard, a tasting room and restaurant featuring local and regional beers crafted by area brewers using our hops. In addition to supporting local supply chains, we provide a casual tasting room atmosphere that is both comfortable and inviting with views of the hop and hemp fields on the expansive setting of our farm. Guests can take a walk on our farm, relax outside on the patio by one of our fire pits, or gather some friends together to enjoy a night of live music or a game of horseshoes.
Every visit to The Hop Yard has been fantastic. If you haven't been there, this is a must visit. The picturesque view and friendly staff and warm environment is worth the drive down the road. Bruce and Annette have certainly built a top-quality establishment that serves craft beer made with the hops produced on their farm. Essentially, on location "farm to table" or in this case...beer glass. It's a nice place to visit on the weekend for dinner and drinks. Oh...and they sell premium CBD products.

Beercade is a bar with 24 classic arcade games, 9 pinball machines, and skee-ball. It features 30 rotating craft beers on tap, and a full bar, located in the historic Benson neighborhood. Beercade evokes nostalgia in a clean and modern environment, where you feel comfortable going alone, or with a group. You can rent the basement for private events, or it is open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 9 pm - 2 am for $3. The basement features 23 arcades and 3 pinball machines, all free to play.
We visited Beercade after dinner for a quick one. It has a great draft and bottle/can selection. Even some rare beers.... the decor and environment made it a perfect hang out with plenty of vintage arcade and pinball games. Cool place!
