Had heard about the Beerbohm so decided to call in with my son. Firstly they don't do food but are happy for you to bring your own in and even offer plates and cutlery. Once at the bar the beer choice is excellent with both real ales and several Belgian delights on tap including Westmalle. In addition they have a whole fridge stocked with bottled Belgian beers including trappist gems. Upstairs they have a quirky room with several comfy chairs and tables. Virtually every woman in the place was drinking a poppy gin drink which seemed very popular. Will be back.

Proud Purveyors of Real Ale, Traditional Ciders, Gins and Fine Wines. A bar-less pub, where quality Real Ale is served as it should be - straight from the cask to you.
I have visited this place occasionally when working in Lichfield and always liked it. We decided to spend the weekend in Lichfield and called in for a beer. It is a brilliant place. It is very safe. The outside seating area is excellent and a little quirky. Beer was amazing; they obviously know their beer. I just think it is something a little bit different that works. Staff were nice and friendly and attentive. Wish I lived a little closer to this place.

Seriously good new bar in Lichfield. Different vibe, drinks served with expertise. Good choice of artisan beers, whiskeys and gins. Go and support something new in Lichfield.

We thought we deserved a treat during lockdown and had heard that La Reve were doing cocktail deliveries. I have only actually been to the bar once in person but the delivery service was excellent. The cocktails arrived on a small table at the front door with a very helpful barman to explain what we had. We even ordered some non alcoholic cocktails for our two boys that they loved. Superb quality and service that was made even better by a complimentary box of popcorn. Well done to this local bar in such a difficult time to really put effort into what they offer. 5 stars.

Lovely pub with a great selection of ales, craft beers, cider and wine. Bar snacks, and cobs available as well. Great staff, great prices too, what’s not to like?

Walking towards the city centre along Beacon Street we noticed the George and Dragon pub. We were on mission to visit the market and cathedral so didn’t go in, but we did on the way back. Such a lovely little town pub, probably as its been for ages and only 5-10 mins from the city centre. It is very dog friendly; the public bar was full of them when we when in. As with old fashioned pubs it has a public bar and a lounge bar, both with comfy seating and fires and served from a shared serving area. It also has a very good large garden with raise area and with a hatch to the bar area, great for the summer months and with a good view of the city It serves has a good variety of local beers, cask and bottled, spirits and wine. Food is only snacks but the toasties are great. Although we were obviously visitors the welcome from the staff was excellent and the locals were pleasant and talkative. Such a great find. Will definitely visit again on future visits

My wife and I had a fantastic vegetarian meal here on a busy Sunday afternoon in January. However, even with it being so busy the staff were still very happy to help, not at all stressed and still had smiles on their faces! The menu is splendid, offering some fantastic vegetarian options as well, the meal itself was delicious! The decor and atmosphere is truly something unique and couple this with a cracking breakfast tea, great food and excellent service, I would highly recommend anyone coming here! Why not work up an appetite by having a few miles walk up and back on he canal?

Friendly venue with a welcoming atmosphere, serving food from 12-9 (12-8 Sunday). Local to the Lichfield Cathedral with new decor that gives a nod to Lichfield's famous past. The hub of the community, there for the community. New business owner and investment Jan2017
