The 10 Best Nightlife in La Rambla, Catalonia

October 19, 2021 Mikaela Didonna

Barcelona feels a bit surreal – appropriate, since Salvador Dali spent time here and Spanish Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí designed several of the city’s buildings. Stepping into Gaudí’s Church of the Sacred Family is a bit like falling through the looking glass - a journey that you can continue with a visit to Park Güell. Sip sangria at a sidewalk café in Las Ramblas while watching flamboyant street performers, then create your own moveable feast by floating from tapas bar to tapas bar.

Boadas Cocktails

Absolutely delighted with this bar, the cocktails aren't cheap but they aren't expensive either. Definitely worth what you get. Service was a delight to watch and these guys know everything about everything on their back bar. If you want to be transported back in time and escape the hustle and bustle of the city make sure you stop by this place. It is just off of the Ramblas which seems like it may get hit with tourists but due to lack of signage etc outside I think it remains a locals and industry hangout. 10/10

Craft beer and cocktails in downtown Barcelona (nearby Las Ramblas).

We went here twice and we were only in Barcelona 3 days. Great craft beer selection, primarily from Spain and the UK. Chatted with the bar tender—very knowledgeable about beer. This place would be popular in Chicago where I live. They had beer flights and offered various sizes of their beer. Prices were on par with the high quality of beer. I also enjoyed the music being played and the decor.

Jamboree Jazz

Faithful to the club's desire to be a reference point in the sector, open to all possible schools of jazz and, therefore, to the ever-increasing number of fans of this hundred-year-old genre in Barcelona, Jamboree presents an assorted monthly programme with the cream of national and international jazz. Under the management of Pere Pons, it attempts to include a selection of musicians from Catalonia (60% of the total monthly programme), the rest of Europe (20%) and the United States (20%). Among the local artists included in the programme, there is a balanced combination of established figures and up and coming young artists. Jamboree is, above all a place where you can find out what's hot both among the new generations and the best known artists. A laboratory through which fans can keep up with the latest by our artists. With regards to the international program, first rate American artists, recognized by national and international press, are used to capture the interest of many fans.

Came with my friends in 2005 and then 15 years later in feb 2020 visited Barcelona on a business trip and had to visit this place to reminisce. Its still the same but improved decor! love this place for its music, intimacy and very rare to find a bar underground. drinks are reasonable, I had a double rum with diet coke and it cost 8 euros. Due to a music live brand ticket was 15 euros to get in. The bar man was wonderful and told me R'n'B nights are fri,sat nights around 12am where it starts to get packed which I remember in my young days. Recommend it 'UK Londoners'... who like old skool DJ R'n'B US music and live bands depending who is playing that night during the week.
