The large city of Iasi has been a cultural and political hub since the 15th century. Everything orbits the Golden Plateau, bookended by the Palace of Culture and Union Square, and packed to the brim with churches and palaces galore. Iasi has significant Jewish history. The first Yiddish-language newspaper was published here, and the 17th-century Great Synagogue is the oldest surviving synagogue in Romania.

It’s not only the best cocktail bar in Iasi, but probably one of the nicest places of its kind in the country. The guys at the bar are so skillful and friendly that they’ll just prepare any drink you wish for. But try first their own cocktail menu, it’s full of surprises.

If you want to have fun in Iasi this is the place to go. There are great people, best music, delicious food and fine drinks. In the morning or during the day you can go to the Cafeneaua Piata Unirii's terrace which is located in the Piata Unirii Square, a unique historical site in Iasi. There you can get a breakfast or lunch from the nearby bistro and savor your tea or coffee while watching kids feeding the pigions in the square or the beatiful artesian fountains. In the evening you can also get the dinner while listening to great chillout music and watch how the square becomes a quiet and beautiful lighted place. At night you can go inside since except Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays there are the best parties down there. Wednesday is karaoke night, Tuesday is theme party night, and Friday and Saturdays are the most crowded and amazing parties.
