Hove /hoʊv/ is a town in East Sussex, England, immediately west of its larger neighbour Brighton, with which it forms the unitary authority Brighton and Hove. It forms a single conurbation with Brighton and some smaller towns and villages running along the coast. As part of local government reform, Brighton and Hove were merged, to form the borough of Brighton and Hove in 1997. In 2001, the new borough officially attained city status.

Artista is a versatile arts cafe/bar located just one minute from Hove seafront and a 5 minute walk from the i360 in the heart of Brighton & Hove. A small independent venue with a varied programme of events including art exhibitions, live music, theater, poetry, storytelling & our speciality, comedy. A laid back place to make new friends, relax and enjoy a show.
A very entertaining night, highly recommend! Get in quick as it’s a very intimate venue with limited seating, but makes it up close and personal. Will come again when next visiting Brighton.

This is a perfect place for a meal with friends or family. The choices are perfect for example the steaks or meat platter are very tasty. I have only been twice but wouldn't hesitate to go again. The atmosphere is charming with lovely staff who are very attentive.

Back Beat has two fabulous venues. Our bar boasts a fantastic atmosphere, great cocktails and live musicians almost every night. Back Beat Bassment is our downstairs club where we host many live gigs and DJ nights.
Fantastic nite in the downstairs club also great cocktails with fantastic drag artist. Best nite I've had in Hove for ages. Lovely singer upstairs to finish the nite off! Highly recommended!

A Grade II listed building is one of the only bars in Brighton to retain its original name, Hove based watering hole Freemasons are known for their range of cocktails, lively music and unique small plates food offering provided by Pangea KTCHN. A building that has seen over 200 years of use and is the Masonic capital of Sussex, Freemasons is steeped in history. But while the exteriors are gilded in eye catching golds, flecked tiling and intricate details, the interior of Freemasons remains wholly modern. Spread over two floors including their second floor, 100 heavy, famed restaurant, Freemasons boast plush seating areas, exposed brickwork, charming low hanging lampshades and a plethora of cocktails, wines, spirits and craft beers. More of a fun time bar and restaurant, less of a laid back lounger, Freemasons is just the ticket for those after an amazing range of drinks and a taste of their amazing small plates concept with hand selected dishes from across the world.
