Reykjavik bears the distinction of being the world’s northernmost capital, and for many Icelandic visitors it also serves as a gateway to the rugged adventure options beyond. Recharge after outdoor pursuits in one of the many geothermal springs or luxurious indoor spas. We appreciate Reykjavik’s open-minded and energetic culture that includes a hip and internationally recognized music and arts scene, great food and notoriously "enthusiastic" nightlife.

They picked us up from cross roads one block from our hotel in the evening. There were about 7 of us in the Super Jeep all bundled up ready to go. We made a short stop to go to the bathroom in a really cool local museum (it's on my list to visit next time!), then we were off headed towards our spot to search for the Northern Lights. We waited for about three hours and just when we thought we were going home with only seeing stars so bright my iPhone 11 could pick them up, the famous light show started to dance right before our eyes. The green and yellow lights were striped across the sky. We saw mostly green and yellow waves, with some blues as the hour progressed. They gave us a pastry, hot chocolate, and a local l'chiam! They took our picture and a group picture and emailed them to us. We highly recommend putting pocket warmers in your shoes and pockets before you step out of the jeep and wait in the freezing cold air. We highly recommend this group as it gave us all we wanted: friendly and informative guides, a warm treat, photos with their amazing camera, and the light show that brought us to see this beautiful country in the first place!

Your adventure starts with your pick-up in Reykjavik. The group size is no bigger than 19. Your driver-guide will then head out to the countryside and away from the light pollution. And then the hunt begins. All our guides have many years of experience with Northern Light tours. Together we analyze the forecast daily and make our decision whether we go out for a hunt or not. If the answer is yes, we will drive to the most promising places to see the Aurora Borealis according to the weather forecast. In case we are not lucky in the first place, all our guides are advised to drive to different locations to maximize our chances. During the drive or while we are waiting for the Northern Lights to show up, your knowledgeable guide will help you with setting up your camera, explain all the science behind the Northern Lights to you and serve you delicious hot chocolate and Icelandic "Kleina".
Inclusions: Pick-up and Drop-off, Warm wool blankets, Hot chocolate and Icelandic "Kleina", Wifi

This was our second tour with Reykjavik Tourist Info and Toni. Again, we were picked up in a nice car and we have been the only ones on the tour. This was probably the best tour I have ever done. We visited 10 or more places, each more beautiful than the one before. When I did my research before our trip, it seemed to me that the tour to this Peninsula isn't as popular as other tours, but believe me, this is one of the best tours you can do. The landscape is unreal and it is definitely worth the money. Once again, I highly recommend Reykjavik Tourist Info, as their service is top-notch.

Wow. What a fun way to see the lights. Small group, excellent guide (we were with Astpor and Marius ) and professional pictures included. Well worth the price. I have been on bus tours to see the lights -- they take you to one place (shared by many many buses), while Happy World will move to different secluded spots if need be. If you're a novice with Aurora hunting and don't have he right camera equipment with you, don't worry. The guides, who have a lot of photography experience with the lights, take the photos for you and "with" you in it. It's an absolutely great souvenir to take home from Iceland. Hot chocolate and local stories filled the night. Note: Do read their recommendations for what to wear especially if your're going in the winter. There is a lot to say about layering and you will be happy you did. Take along hand and feet warmers as a backup. After all, you are there to enjoy the lights and company and if the lights don't come out do, do try again. Schedule your viewing when you first arrive to Iceland so you have some time to try again if the lights are cooperating the first night.

We traveled with Andres on this tour for two days. Such a beauty of nature starting with exhibition Lava centre in small town, we continue to several waterfalls and much more. Just to make it shorter, day later we visited glacier, glacial lagoon, diamond beach and else. Andres was very knowledgeable, he was willing to stop on some special spots so it was really private tour.

My wife and I were supposed to go on tour with this group on Thursday, 13/05/2021 and we recieved an email the day before stateing the tour was canceled due to covid restrictions. This is odd as there were still tour groups doing tours, and had this been the real issue they should have told us sooner than a day prior. This short notice cost us a large amount of money in setting up a tour with a different group.

I loved the spirit of whale watching without annoying the whales and I loved the passion of Sabrina in doing her work. In the end of the trip I was even lucky to see pilot whales in the bay, which is very rare. I suggest very warm clothes because in the sea it’s always very windy and cold. Anyway it was a great experience, I suggest it to everyone who loves nature.

The Northern Lights (or aurora) are perhaps one of the most popular things that tourists come to Iceland to visit. This stunning light display occurs high in the upper atmosphere of the earth as a result of solarwinds colliding with the magnetic field of our planet. Our Northern Lights team works hard throughout the day, checking on weather data in order to best predict a location where the lights should be clearly visible. The locations visited are different from day to day we head in the direction with the most chances of seeing Northern Lights. As this tour is weather dependent and sightings are not guaranteed you are welcome to join another Northern Lights tour free of charge.
Inclusions: WiFi on board, Air-conditioned vehicle, Tea or Hot Chocolate, All Fees and Taxes, Admission to the Aurora Museum in Reykjavik
