Donna Nook Nature Reserve

Grey Seals come "in-mass" every year between late October to early December to give birth between heading back to sea. Best time of year to go there is from late October to early December with a peak in mid-November. Best time is generally between sunrise up to about 10;30-11:00 as afterward it can become rather busy. This could be a great place for the whole family but remember these are wild seals and therefore could become disturbed by screaming kids. And no matter how cute these pups might look like, you can't give them a hug nor take one home! Dogs are of course not allowed along the beach. Most of the area is fully accessible by wheelchair.

Easily spent a couple of hours here with my daughter, lots to see, the baby seals being a particular favourite along with the friendly goat. Well worth the money.

We have visited several times recently for long walks and with a big family group from 1yr to 67yrs. It's a great place for children including a good indoor play area and lots to do outside. Each time we've had lunch in the cafe/restaurant which has lovely views and excellent home cooked food which is great value. Children's meals are very reasonable with a good choice of proper food. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
