Taghazout Skatepark is an international standard community skatepark in the village of Taghazout located 20min from Agadir, the biggest city in southern Morocco. Volunteers from around the world constructed the skatepark on public ground. If you need any gear or infos about our skatepark or street spots around, contact us
At the end of my trip to Morocco, after several days touring the southern part of the country, I had the opportunity to briefly be at the Skatepark in Taghazout (@taghazoutskatepark). This is one of the most culturally rich places I could see during the trip. It is a place where there are no differences, no matter where you are from or where you are going, whether you are pro-skater or amateur, from the moment you arrive everyone welcomes you. Julius (@juliusprues), Mark (@itsmarktheshark) we decided to stay until we stay until the light get out. Without a doubt it was one of the most beautiful afternoons of the trip. If you’re in Taghazout you can’t not go to the skatepark. (Beautiful place for photographers)

This amazing gorge plunges 300 meters down to a clear river. Pastoral villages and hotels are scattered throughout the area.
The views are fantastic and the stars at night are really vivid. Rock climbing and hiking here is also perfect.

It was amazing drive through the Valley with it's palmeries and people still living along the river because most families are firmers. We stoped by some very good photo spots. Local recently used irrigated system.

Mohamed was our bird guide on a recent trip that my wife and I took to Morocco. It was a six day trip (May 31-June 5, 2019) starting in Marrakesh and ending up in Agadir. Our trip took us to Oukaimeden, over the Atlas Mtns., Ouarzazate, Merzouga, Taroundant, and the Souss-Massa National Park area. Overall we saw 124 species thanks to Mohamed. If you are looking for a dedicated guide who will do his utmost to find birds for you, then I would highly recommend Mohamed. He is flexible on itineraries and can either set up the trip on his own or work with your schedule and priorities. We decided to rent our own vehicle and book hotels, but he did most of the driving. On numerous occasions Mohamed went above and beyond in an effort to locate a particular species until we either found it or we had to call him off. He’s also very knowledgeable about species in a wide range of habitats and has reliable locations and local contacts for hard to find birds. Mohamed is an official Morrocan state wildlife guide and that came in very handy at the many police check points we ran into travelling around the country. He knows the birds, where they are, and he knows the culture which we found invaluable. Would highly recommend his services to any serious birders.
