You're on island time the moment you set foot in Jamaica. Ocho Rios, a port of call for many cruise lines, also boasts some of the most luxe resorts and spas in the Caribbean. And once you've had your stresses melted away in the island sun, you can head out for a night of dancing and reggae music.

Come experience a little thrill and adventure, getting to see breathtaking views, and doing optional jumps on the way down, through a Jamaican jungle! The river is refreshing, and the views are once in a lifetime, it is a experience you won't regret, or soon forget!

Charming waterfalls overlook a small but beautiful beach, offering some much-needed relief from the tropical heat.
Got a private boat to take us to the beach (laughing waters) where Ursula Andrews emerged from the sea

Beautiful, well-kept gardens just a short walk from the center of town.
Well worth the visit, beautiful gardens set in the hillside, we were shown around by our guide Richard, who was amazingly knowledgeable of the history of the gardens and all the plants and creatures in the surroundings, a fab place for any keen photographer with the views of Ocho and humming birds and fauna. At only $10 entry it's worth every penny.

Get up close and personal with the Chukka White River Valley location, offering stunning natural beauty and historic landmarks. The clarity of the water at White River Valley and the consistency of the river flow make it stand out above other locations on the island. The limestone bedrock filters the river’s water so it remains crystal clear even when there’s flooding. Located in St. Mary, Jamaica, this location is home to beautiful wildlife and an extensive history. With the exciting zipline adventure and thrilling river tubing journey this location is the perfect piece of paradise when paired with the Blue Hole experience!
We booked a tubing trip down the White River with Chukka Tours and had a wonderful time. I had been promising to go tubing with my wife back home but never did. This more than made up for it in her mind. The river only moves fast in a few places so it is a relaxing ride and beautiful to boot. Lots of plants and flowers along the way and the trip is mostly shaded from vegetation along the river. Our guide, Sheldon, was funny, helpful, and great. I would recommend this excursion.

We visited as part of an excursion booked through our ship MSC. Included in the excursion was Mystic mountain Rainforest Sky Explorer, a chair lift ride that soars 700 feet above the tree tops, transporting you high above Ocho Rios. Lovely views to the surrounding trees and bay below. Next up, you hop aboard Bobsled Jamaica, a bobsled that speeds you along stainless steel rails on a 1,000-meter, gravity-driven thrill ride through the forest. It is self controlled, so you can go as fast or slow as you like. Much fun! We were then transported the short distance to Dunns River Falls. It was very hot, and pretty crowded. However we were able to get lockers and a guide ( the process is not that self evident). Our guide, Mr Shaw, and chief photographer Curtis, made the experience so enjoyable and fun. The tips we paid them were so worthwhile... it would not have been as entertaining without them. Everyone links up in a human chain to begin ascending this beautiful travertine waterfall, which cascades in an amazing formation. I was fortunate to be right behind the guide, who guided us expertly up the 180ft high falls, directing my every step, so as not to misstep. The water is quick flowing and pretty strong, so water shoes are essential, and you will get very wet! Leave phones, cameras and extra clothes in a locker. They showed us all the fun spots for quick showers, bum slides etc, all with photo opportunities. This was one of our favorite excursions. Thanks to our fantastic guides! The dvd does provide great memories for afterwards.

We had an excellent time at the park. In our favor there were very few other people there so we had a very good, leisurely walk up the falls and through the gardens. The visit was especially enjoyable due to the best tour guide ever - Jordan. He was very informative, humorous, and captured special moments with our camera that we would have missed. We had a pleasant tour of the falls - bring water shoes and be adventuresome! Do not hesitate to feed the birds - you will be pleasantly surprised! We highly recommend that you visit the gardens and falls.

Climbing up the limestone of a high waterfall? No problem. Especially if you have the guides/life-guards our group had. They were competent, attentive and helpful, while being funny at every turn... Once at the top, we were guided through lush gardens with many kinds of flowering and medicinal plants. Large aviaries with different types of parrots and other colorful tropical birds, reptiles (big and small), and plenty information about the local environment and culture (displayed in a small museum, and also told by our nature-guide) completed the tour. All the animals and plants are very well cared for and treated. The park also has a bar/grill restaurant, entertainment plaza, a photo and curio shops. We loved it!

I was in Montego Bay for my birthday and we took a Day trip to Ocho Ríos. We absolutely loved the falls. It was a true authentic Jamaican experience. The locals were so helpful and the cost was free you just needed to tip the guides if they assisted you. I am planning to return again this year! Awesome Experience

Scenic drive through a three-mile-long canyon, shaded by trees and ferns.
We drove through Fern Gully which was magical, Our knowledgeable Jamaican driver told us that years ago one needed headlights on as it was so dark and completely encompassed by this huge canopy of towering trees. However . Hurricane Gilbert blew the tops off allowing shafts of light to penetrate, The vast roots were so historic that we wanted to stop and explore but the road has few places to pull over, so traffic kept us moving. I want to return and park next time s
