We walk the trail from Mt Martha village toward the Nepean. What can I say, what a gem! Easy path, mostly boardwalk, along the creek. Goes for about 3km each way and just let you switch of. Took us about an hour to complete. Highly recommended.

Mount Martha is one of the best beaches on the Mornington Peninsula; it's about an hour and a half drive from Melbourne. The beach is 2 kms long, split into two sections by a creek. The locals are trying to save the northern part of the beach, although the government does not seem to be enthusiastic. Mt Martha has some of the best beach-boxes in the State. The Mt Martha Surf Lifesaving Club patrols the beach.
