Claiming to be the sunniest spot in all of Europe, the Croatian island of Hvar is the perfect destination for tourists seeking the beauty of Mediterranean beaches without the crowds associated with more well-known destinations. Pathways lined with lavender vines lead to secluded coves, small fishing villages and local vineyards, and ferries and catamarans carry visitors across the calm, blue waters to the surrounding islands, all worthy of exploration.

It's a little bit hard to find. Don't trust the "google maps", they direct you too far. Park your car 100 meters before google tells you to make the last right turn. The parking spot is just by the main asphalt road. Then you descend down to the beach for a few minutes. The bay is gorgeous and the water is calm. But beware of the sea urchins.

We hired a fast boat for the day and visited the Blue Cave and then the islands after. We all wished we had spent more time exploring the islands than spending hours going to the Cave. The little bays are beautiful and make sure you visit Marmito’s for lunch

Beautiful beach with not many people on it. The sea was heavenly blue! The beach is 30 min walk trough the pine woods away from the main, turist beach Pokonji dol. It is very much worth the walk!

Jerolim island is very close to Hvar town, and very recommended if you want to enjoy a nudist beach. Taxi boats depart from the Arsenal building in Hvar town centre every 30 min and the trip lasts for 10 min. A lot of the reviews mention 2 beach bar- at the time of our trip the one that was supposed to be the main one had been deserted. Once you arrive at Jerolim, you will have an option of going left or right. If you go left you will reach very soon the only existent beach bar at the time of our visit. There is an area for nudist bathing. The bar offers drinks and snacks. Whilst the drinks are acceptable, the snacks are mediocre, so better bring your picnic. If you go right and you continue walking, you will reach a long, wild, rocky beach, ideal for nudists. There are no facilities and you will need water shoes. The end of the beach is frequented by gay men, if that helps.
