This Peat-Bog was formed on top of a former crater lake, offering an almost outlandish landscape, and harboring a handful of very interesting plants. Access is covered by the parking fee at the entrance and includes a guided tour, which starts every hour at .15 min. Once here, one should also visit its smaller twin, the neighboring St.-Ana crater lake.

The Ivo Wild Life Park is home to different species of wild animals such as muflons, wild boar, red, fallow and roe deer. The more than 320 hectares (1,24 Square Miles) park is settled amongst rolling hills and river valleys at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. The park is kept in it's natural state. We are proud that Transylvania remains one of the few, truly wild landscapes left in Europe. With the exception of minimal fencing and access roads, the natural landscape, flora and fauna are left undisturbed. The tours in the park take approximately two hours and are supervised by our experimented guides, who can offer valuable information about the species living in this region of Transylvania. Please contact us in advance before your visit.
We rode through the park on Icelandic horses, saw deer, wild boar, great views. It is a large area so combining your visit with a hack may be a good idea. You can ask the staff at Icelandic horse riding , they manage both places.

I have long wanted to reach St. Anne's Lake. A place of special beauty, the only volcanic lake in Romania, located near the resort Tusnad. The shape of the lake resembles the palette of a painter, and the water of the lake is of a very high purity, close to distilled water. People also come on pilgrimage and pray at the stone chapel, it is said that St. Anne helps young people to find their mate.

Wish I had more time to spend there and admire the canyon and be better equipped for that place so we can walk on foot for awhile, not just stop then continue. We travel East to West in the middle of the day. If you like sunrise or sunset you should try to be there for those, I'm sure it will be spectacular. .

Using the experiences lived with the periodic butterfly house from Odorheiu Secuiesc, we opened the first permanent butterfly house in Romania, at Praid, Harghita County, on the spring of 2012. The building, created for this very purpose, is divided into two parts and is house to a reception area that communicates with a gift shop and to a so called "flying space" with a tropical microclimate that
A wonderful place to visit. There are many butterflies and birds and turtles and at the entrance you can buy soda

We were in a holiday in Borsec and sure we wanted to see all the beauties concerning nature. Borsec has a natural reservation named Round Chair, and it is a very beautiful one. Inside this rezervation we did a trip to see Ice Cave, Bear Cave and the old Traverttin Quarry. The road was so beautiful through the forest very well mantained by the people who have care of this reservation. First was Ice Cave. We could go inside but not on a long distance. Very interesting one. After that we continued the road and arrived at Travertin Quarry with a great view. This great quarry was exploited since 1819 but they stopped to do that in 2004. Our next objectiv was Bear Cave which is a sensational one. We walked in this corridor for 60 m. Impressive walk. If you want to have a wonderful holiday I recommend to come in Borsec and explore all.

Stanca lui Florian (Florian's Rock) is a very interesting rock near Tomesti, Timis County, Romania. I was surprised that this attraction is not on Google Maps or Trip Advisor, as it is nice location and there are a lot of attractions nearby (caves monasteries, lakes).
