Whether you love sailing, touring wineries, or exploring Amish country, this picturesque region has something for everyone. In summer, Chautauqua County lures you with its five lakes including the Lake Erie shoreline, as well as dynamic arts and cultural programming at the Chautauqua Institution. Explore a half-mile long ridge of 60-foot high rock forming crevices, passageways, and caves hidden in an ancient forest! Located just 15 minutes from Chautauqua Lake, Panama Rocks is one of the top-rated attractions in Chautauqua County based on independent reviews on TripAdvisor. The Panama Rocks formations are surrounded by a one mile long hiking trail, but most guests enjoy going off of the main trail to explore! Visitors spend anywhere from one hour to the entire day having fun and exploring the park. Picnic tables are available. The trail is relatively easy to hike (Class 1) and guests of all ages enjoy it, but there are roots, rocks, and uneven ground; it is still a hiking trail! Plan your trip to explore one of the most fun and popular "things to do" in Western New York today! Try axe throwing with Axcellent Adventures at Panama Rocks! Reservations recommended!
This place is a perfect day trip with the family to get outside and take in nature. It is fine for all ages. There are some steep inclines but for the most part it is easy enough to guide the little ones to have them stay safe. The trail is about 1 mile long and worth the trip but to really enjoy this park, you need to go off trail and explore the massive rocks!

Great trail ride today with Darlene and the team at Double Dab Riding stables. With over 80 horses and several rescue horses, the family has a large undertaking. The ride was beautiful, horses patient and calm, and the guides lovely. Jess gave us a tour of the animals on the farm and we got to pet several farm animals. Just be aware all of the guides are volunteers except the owners, so be sure to tip them if they do a good job!

Ski on novice to expert runs, and snowboarding is allowed with one terrain park and a half-pipe.

We camped at paridise Bay campground for the weekend! That was a really great place and the people who own it are awesome. We drove just a few miles away to downtown Findlay lake and bought lots great unusual things! The candle company is awesome, but the outlet store is really great! Prices are very good! The antique shop is great and the general store has great ice cream! Really enjoyed our time there!

There is something for almost anyone at the Audubon Community Nature Center. Hike six miles of trails through forests and wetlands, visit a live Bald Eagle, or enjoy having a picnic and playing in the Nature Play Area. There are play areas, live animals, a gift shop and a wildlife viewing area inside the Nature Center, while outside there are also gardens, a native tree arboretum, picnic pavilions, towers and more. Visit the website to learn what programs might be happening while you are there!
