Kayangan Lake

its similar to barracuda lake but both of them have their own beauty. The lake is very deep so its wonderful to explore all the sides as you can you lot of rock formations and scuba divers beneath you. the deck is very small so you have to ask many other tourists to give you a way.

Mt Tapyas

Hidden gem! Must go! Don't worry about the climb, you can take breaks and stop for photos. Lots of vendors selling water and other beverages. 744 steps is worth the climb for the stunning sunset views. Can get crowded... Like it did for us on a weekday but overall, a very fun activity to do either solo or with a group.

Definitely in my recommendations list for divers. The wrecks have served as habitat for fish and coral, penetration dives are also allowed and you can see the wheelhouse, cargo holds, boilers and such...definitely will come back to these wrecks...

Coron Bay

We were looking for a multi-day expedition, traveling from El Nido to Coron. We wanted something like Tao, but with fewer people. Abandon Paradise fit that bill - and was cheaper than Tao! We ended up being the only people to sign up for our dates, so we basically got a private boat tour. It was an absolutely unforgettable trip that I find myself day dreaming about a lot. Our guide Kier, alongside our captain, cook and skipper and dog Mishao took great care of us, preparing the most delicious meals (fresh fish off the side of the boat), tropical fruits, and showing us the best places to snorkel and spot sea turtles. This was the highlight of the trip. If you want to escape it all, in a smaller group than Tao, do consider Abandon Paradise - they are fantastic!!

Banana Island

Wow... Such a Great place to be for 7 days/nights. In these days we were the only visitors on the Island, i. The area. Great fish, Rice and veggies each day for all meals. I miss these simple days. Water 30degrees and air 30. Balance. 30minutes to walk around the Island. Isolation at its best. Dogs (on other Islands barking) and waves the only sounds to break up your night. Gorgeous space way back when. Great hosts. Hope the coral is growing back.

Barracuda Lake

Reviewed By jun_r - Sacramento, United States

This place was suggested as a dive spot. I was initially skeptical as I didn’t think there was much to experience in a freshwater lake. Was I ever wrong. Diving this lake is an other wordly experience. It is eerie and magical at the same time. The water is cold as you go in but as you descend it SUDDENLY turns warm… almost too warm so you don’t actually want to wear a wetsuit when you dive here. The change in water temp was so sudden that my mask fogged up so you’ll need to brush up on your mask clearing skills if you want to see anything here. The lake itself is pretty deep so you want to dive close to the edges to experience the limestone structures that line the sides of the lake. They also have some really friendly freshwater catfish in there that you can practically hand feed by breaking up some of the snails on the lake bed.

Banul Beach

This is a beautiful fine white sand beach which is usually one of the lunch stops for the island tours. Beach is really nice and water is clear and blue. I stayed longer on this island to swim since I rented a private boat. Definitely one of the must see islands/beaches in Coron.

Twin Lagoon

Reviewed By pochaycruz - Las Pinas, Philippines

Its only passable by kayak if low tide or swim through the opening if its high-tide. I have experienced both and would recommend the latter as you can feel the change of temp of the cool sea water and warm fresh water. A bit difficult to climb the stairs and its a slippery was well so take precaution if you manage to climb the stairs.
