Lovely walk amongst mature native trees and a creek. Connects to apex park in town. Worth a look and has a large car park with toilets

A great place to walk and see something approaching the natural bushland of the Barossa Valley. Altona Scrub has been rescued and rehabilitated by a local land-care group. It is inspiring as well as enjoyable. We took the yellow trail - less than an hour of brisk walking from the small car park entrance on Altona Road. Easy walking.

So close to home but never knew these walking trails existed. Went for a drive and stumbled across this place. From the old house there is several walking trails, all 3 different lengths too. Did the 4km track and some excellent scenery. It is hilly in some places but worth the walk, so many beautiful views and so quiet.

This trail is well laid out and offers a trip through the beautiful barossa with plenty of cafes and wineries along the way. There are a couple places where your gears will come in handy but overall suitable for most riders.

Great place to stretch the legs and have a change of scenery between wine tastings. I liked the tall Banksias, unusual for this part of our state, and all the grass trees. A nice drive to get there too.
