Yellowstone National Park should be in anyone’s bucket list who loves the bond between nature & wildlife.Dramatic landscape,Alpine Forest, Gushing Geyser,Fuming Hot Spring, Volcanic Caldera, Bubbling Basin,Colourful pool,Scenic Lake,Hiking trail what all what not. This topography is the perfect choice for photography & a traveler's stop. The whole area is atop of a volcano & the vesicles give a rough & porous texture on the earth’s outer crust. It exactly looks like a painful blister on earth’s skin. I was taken aback to see snow fudge & thermal spring dwelling together without losing their own identity. It’s magic, bounty of nature.Get out of the car & explore this beautiful piece of the planet by walk. Time plays a major role, if someone wants to enjoy the hot spring flow. It's once in a lifetime experience & want to go back again after some years.

This 10,243-foot peak is located in Yellowstone National Park.
One of best views of Yellowstone! Large horned sheep meander at the top with no concern for the two legged invaders. Interesting lookout tower to warm up in, get some great shots of Yellowstone Lake.

We always start our visit at the Visitor's Center and if they have a video or two spend the time to watch before we tour the area. They had a great video on the history which ended just in time for us to get a great spot to watch Old Faithful.

Entering through the East park entrance you will come up to the Lake Butte Overlook on the right side of the road. It is a short, steep drive off the main road that only takes about 2 minutes to get up to the small (~5 car) parking lot. The view is excellent and well worth the break and the drive. If you want a great view of the lake, this is the short excursion that you should take. Enjoy

I enjoyed the hot springs, since the ones in Yellowstone Park were closed all summer due to high waters and covid this was the next best thing. It's nice they offer a discount for MT residents. I always spent a few hours when I visited to get a tan and enjoy being outside. I don't understand why some tourists pay so much and only stay an hour. Plus, the view is nice too.

Popular hiking and cross-country trail around Old Faithful in Yellowstone Park.
We stopped at the Fairy Falls trailhead for the mile hike to the Grand Prismatic Spring Overlook. It was so worth it! It was a bit too COVID-19 crowded but we wore our masks and waited our turn at the top. We didn’t make it to Fairy Falls. It was hot and we wimped out when we learned it was another 1.5 miles to the falls but the overlook view of GPS was breathtaking!
