Maison Saint-Gabriel, museum and historic site, opened its doors in 1966. Located in Pointe-Saint-Charles, this magnificent 300-year-old building is one of the finest examples of the traditional architecture of New France. Purchased by Marguerite Bourgeoys in 1668 to house the King’s Wards, it lay at the heart of the agricultural and educational activities of the Congrégation de Notre-Dame for three centuries.

The lovely Van Gogh exhibition was a big hit, but is now over, so onto other things.. Stunning Jean-Michel Othoniel exhib opened a few days ago and is like entering another world. Short documentary film behind black curtains also interesting (don't miss it). And Véronique Duplain's Selfie Project, 8th edition, exhibition shows how ambitious the art of selfie can be, with sets and costumes and scenarios as in a staged play, on view together with the end result photos.

So impressed and inspired by the incredible exhibit "Imagine Van Gogh" in Montreal!! Beautiful, huge projections of his paintings, which move, accompanied by beautifully curated classical music, and the images are so sharp you can see all his brush strokes ????????????
