Taisho and Showa's masterpiece of Japanese paintings, Ryuko's works are exhibited. Ryuko Kawabata (1885 to 1966), known as the master of Japanese paintings, is one of the residents of Masumagu Fuma. We are constantly displaying large works of that scale. Memorial hall was built in 1962 (1962) in order to commemorate Kikusui and exhibit his own masterpieces. The building was designed by Ryuko himself, and has the shape of seahorse.
