First day so it was about the department of public works and Guayaquil. I was so wrong this place has everything and it doesn’t take long to go through it. Everything from the Amazon to the Galapagos figures in Ecuadorian history . Don’t let the name for you it even has Aztec art I was highly impressed with my visit here very close to the continental hotel where we stayed and across the park iguanas . And the huge Catholic cathedral in one place within walking distance of The riverfront.

Consider this a self-guided tour of Ecuador’s human history, with some very high quality artifacts (clay, etc.). Finish with contemporary art. Seems odd, but works. Also, after walking down the Malecon in the heat of the day, enjoy the cool interior.
