Highly recommend this trip and Serendipity overall. We booked a 7 day trip for April 2021 and turned out, our trip was during Ramadan and a pretty strict lockdown in Turkey. It was a great trip because the owner, Fazli, is an incredibly gifted guide and wonderful person. He and his driver were great hosts, nice, extremely knowledgeable, gracious, and excellent communicators. It was definitely an unusual time to travel, however, the hospitality from Fazli, all of the hotels, restaurants, sites were beyond our expectations, We saw great sites, including Gallipoli, Canakkale, Troy, Pergamon, Ephesus, Selcuk-Kusadasi,Pamukkale, Konya, Cappadocia and highly recommend traveling with Fazli and Serendipity Travel.
voicesofmesopotamia South East Turkey is a melting pot of cultures, with influences from resident and neighbouring Arab and Kurdish populations, which both bring with them a wealth of history and tradition. You will meet people from all these rich cultures and the many ways they express and celebrate their identities. Each site we visit has played an important role in shaping the history of Turkey and the wider region. We will explore the history of the many civilisations that have called this place home, and how they all fit together in the long timeline of this area - correctly known as the ‘cradle of civilisation’. Turkey hosts some of the best archaeological sites; all the way from the Neolothic era, to the roman empire, the crusades, and the seljuk and assyrian empires. Many of these sites are little known, which means you have a rare access to immaculate and perfectly preserved locations.

We took the Tour in Spanish and all I can say is that it was amazing!!! Ahmet (the guide) is such a respectful, patience, kind and friendly person. He explained very well to us the historical context of all the places. We started around 10 in the morning and finished at 4.30pm. All the places we visited were amazing (pictures are not fair)...we had time to take photos, to go to WC, to have lunch (it’s included in the price)..and just to enjoy the view... I seriously recommend this company and Ahmet!!! Thanks for everything, we had such a great time!!

Besides these, the unique pieces of mosaic depicting Amazon Queens hunting lions, the cave where Prophet Abraham was born. Moreover, you'll taste the best kebabs in Turkey. Overall, it's very nice tour. Driver pick you up ar 5:30 and go to the place where baloons are preparing to start. Then you go to Love valley to make more pictures and after that you go to Uchisar, Pigeon valley etc until approx 11:00. Then you go to hotel and driver returns for you approx at 15:00 for second part - sunset shooting. Thus, you use both golden hours to do your best shoots. Very good concept! Moreover, they provide a breakfast that is really tasty and much better than in my hotel. However, there is some room for improvement. Real tour progrem do not follow description on this site.We did not visit Open Palace and Devrent Valley but visited Red Valley. It's ok for someone like me who is flexible but if you have specific interest in any attaction, check befor tour. Second, driver is a nice guy but not photographer and bring us to some places not in a best time for shooting (for instance, he bring us to one Ucisar point at the moment when castle was fully shadowed, also he did not bring us to Ortahisar panorama point but bring directly to Ortahisar castle that is nice to watch, but not shoot). In total, I like this tour and would recommend it to my friends. However, I hope that company would care about minor details and make this tur even better.

Booked through Goodman tours weeks before our scheduled Balloon flight via Viator. Received confirmation, got tickets. Night before our flight we get an email, not from Goodman tours but from Viator advising that Balloon flight has been cancelled due to “overbooking”. Rang Goodman tours, they say cancelled because of bad weather but there were heaps of other balloon flights the next morning. Very disappointed as we went to Cappadocia specifically for the Balloon ride. Could of let us know earlier in the day so we could book another flight. Goodman tours offered a complimentary activity, but if never eventuated. Will not use them again.
