My 2 friends and I went on the beginners Spring Tour 2019 for our first trip to Japan. We loved it and can't wait to go back! Becky and Shawn are awesome. They were so down to earth, helpful and very knowledgeable. I also really liked that the tour group is small. It allows you to get to know your fellow group members and ensures personal attention from your guides. We saw so many large tour groups at tour sites and they looked a little chaotic, it made me happy we chose a small group. The accommodations were always clean and comfortable and located perfectly. Food was amazing!!! If you are willing to try new things you can have an amazing gourmet experience. The events and locations that Becky and Shawn chose were top notch and we got to experience all different modes of transportation while there.

On March 11, 2011, the Great East Japan Earthquake happened. It was a magnitude 9.0–9.1 and the most powerful earthquake ever recorded in Japan. The earthquake triggered a powerful Tsunami that reached a maximum of 40.5 meters and traveled up to 10 km inland. At present, more than 15,000 people are counted as dead and over 2,500 people as still missing. Even worse, we lost control of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. On this tour, we visit the coastal area of Fukushima. We hope you can get a real perspective of the damage caused by the disaster and the effect it had on Fukushima. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and can have an important impact on your life.

Inclusions: Breakfast, Air-conditioned vehicle, English speaking guide

Exclusions: Food (Lunch and dinner, average 3,000-4,000JPY ), Other extra expence

Wonderful tour experiencing what has actually occurred, what are currently going on in Fukushima since the incidents. I went far beyond my expectation and could not be better. The well-experienced tour guide gave us much insight on top of what we saw and hear there. The 3-hour tour of damaged nuclear power plant which is not currently open for public would particularly be a highlight of this tour. Directly guided by staff of the power company with a Geiger counter hung from the neck of each one. Tours go around the area show us the unmanageable power of Tsunami and seriousness of the radioactive contamination.

Join fellow adventurous baseball fans September 12-19 as we attend games at all five Tokyo-area ballparks of Nippon Professional Baseball, Japan's major leagues. We have been operating baseball tours in Japan since 1999 and believe that the best way to experience a new culture is by attending a sporting event. You'll feel like a local as we take the train to the ballpark and cheer along with the home team's frenzied fans. And you will have the option to attend a professional sumo wrestling tournament too! Taking in a game in Japan, where baseball is the national sport, is an unforgettable experience. You recognize the field - the green grass, the dimensions, the outfield wall - but that's about it! The rabid fans and unique style of play make attending a baseball game a not-to-be-missed experience for any visitor to Japan. NOTE: Dates are not flexible. We are only offering one tour that starts September and ends September 19.

Inclusions: Dinner, Lunch, Baseball Game Tickets for Five (5) Games, Accommodation - Hotel for Seven (7) Nights, Transportation to and from all official tour activities.

Exclusions: Airfare to and from Japan

I've used them four different times to get tickets to baseball games before I went to Japan. They have the tickets waiting for you at your hotel when you get to Japan. Always worked perfectly, excellent seats, great maps and helpful instructions included.

The guide was very informative which made me feeling safe the entire time. I liked the addition of other people from the area who told us about how their lives have changed since the disaster. The abandoned towns were so interesting. Everything was either frozen in time from the earthquake with the dishes still spilled off shelves, or taken back by nature. It was also nice though to see the community being rebuilt. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who likes to go a bit off the beaten path, or even those who want an excuse to get out of Tokyo for the day and see the Japanese countryside. Make sure to try one of the peaches, the Fukushima prefecture is well known for them!

The tour was just like a live stream. You will get on a rickshaw and your friendly driver will show you around in Kyoto. After the ride, your guide will walk with you and take you to the beautiful bamboo forest and Tenruji Temple. You will also meet monkeys at the park in Iwatayama! The only thing I was disappointed about was I couldn't taste the Shojin Ryori or Buddhist vegetarian meal that our guide Mickey-san showed and explained. I should be on the real tour!
