Whether you are looking for sun-drenched beaches or outdoor activities in beautiful countryside, New Jersey has plenty to offer. Those who love the great outdoors should head for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which runs along the Delaware River for forty miles. Here you can go rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking or fishing, or simply admire the stunning waterfalls. There is a huge range of hiking trails to choose from as well as historic sites to visit. In winter, you can enjoy cross-country skiing near Blue Mountain Lakes, and birdwatchers might be lucky enough to catch sight of bald eagles. If you are looking for a change, visit one of New Jersey's eleven lighthouses that are open to public, such as the one in Cape May. For art and history enthusiasts, New Jersey State Museum in Trenton has historic artifacts and American fine art from the nineteenth century to the present day as well as a Planetarium.

Tropicana's IMAX Theatre, located on the third floor of The Quarter, seats 280. Crystal-clear images projected up to five-and-a-half stories high and digital surround sound awaken the senses and captivate the imagination. The IMAX Theatre at Tropicana offers both IMAX DMR (digital media remastering) and IMAX 3D, the most advanced 3D film technology in use. The theatre provides viewers with polarized glasses that reveal the stunning 3D images. The Tropicana Difference: The IMAX Theatre at Tropicana is the only Giant Screen Certified IMAX Theatre in Southern New Jersey and the only movie theatre in Atlantic City.
What a great experience for the kids to watch a movie at the IMAX in 3D. Great location , we made a whole day of it , enjoyed dinner at the Quarter then went to the movies.

We show first-run films of high artistic quality. We’ve added special programming like classic Hollywood and foreign language films; filmmaker appearances and lectures; Saturday kids matinees; and theatrically broadcast events such as from the National Theatre in London. We endeavor to improve the quality of hospitality and service from the theater’s staff. The Garden is operated as a nonprofit, tax-exempt entity. All revenues, memberships and gifts are reinvested in the theater.

This has the nicest most comfortable chairs ever. I fell asleep a good 3-5 times during the movie ????. I don’t sleep well at night so the sleep was perfect for poppy while the grandkids enjoyed the movie and snacks. Popcorn ???? as all movies very pricy but that’s all over. Loved this theater

You can't beat the price, and it is very convenient for the locals. Often you can see a movie for only $5.00. Some cool stores to visit when you're done.
