Whether you’re exploring Vermont’s covered bridges, visiting Quechee Gorge or skiing at Killington, you’ll find Vermont to be picture-perfect. If you’re the outdoorsy type, you’ll love Vermont. In winter, of course, there’s plenty of skiing and snowboarding. In the warmer months, however, Vermont offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and boating. If you enjoy boating, swimming and fishing, a vacation rental on Lake Champlain might be perfect for you.

The Manchester view is a much better value . Your staff was very pleasant and helpful and friendly but with a minor expense on your part the room would be much more safe, especially for older guest and more user friendly

We stayed for three nights. The location was perfect with wonderful and relaxing views of the Attaquechee River. And the staff , especially Patrick the manager was very helpful, beyond the call of duty. The only drawback was that they had no rooms with small kitchenettes. Be sure to ask for a river view!

Palmer House Resort, Ascend Hotel Collection is a 4-season resort located in Manchester Center, only a short walk from the bustling center of town. We offer a variety of newly renovated rooms & suites with resort, lake, and/or majestic mountain views. Our new restaurant & bar, Clove + Maple, serves breakfast & dinner daily, and our 15-foot firepit provides the perfect relaxation point for all seasons. During the warmer months, enjoy our 9-hole golf course, two tennis courts, our own stocked trout/Bass pond, and a refreshing swim in our outdoor pool.
I want to write about the beautiful views, the lovely grounds, and the friendly staff- but all I can think about is how horrible the beds were. They have updated so much of the furniture, but the mattress was like a crumbly college dorm mattress which left me with a sore back. It was really awful, and when I asked about transferring to a suite to see if it has a nicer bed they said the mattress was the same in every room. We did enjoy the location and the nice extras like the small golf course. If they upgrade the mattresses we would happily come back. The other downside was the restaurant where our $14 pizza looked like a kid sized grocery store frozen pizza. Definitely skip the restaurant for some of the nicer ones in town.

Nestled between picturesque Stowe Village and the Stowe Mountain Resort, the Stowe Motel & Snowdrift is situated on 16 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, bordered by the pristine Westbranch River. A variety of lodging including rooms, efficiencies, fireplace efficiencies, apartments, suites and houses is offered. Guests can partake in our continental breakfast, mountain bikes, snowshoes, hot tub, heated pools, tennis courts, game room and more. Free wireless is also available!
Nothing fancy rooms but clean and everything working including wifi. Put us right in the middle of Stowe in near peak fall foliage. Complimentary bikes for riding on the nearby Creekside trail were a nice way to end our stay. A fun collection of classic movie DVDs at the front desk. The host and Booking.com helped me get a cancellation of an inadvertent double-booking via Booking.com. It took some work but everyone stuck with it.

Motel 6 Burlington - Colchester VT is located just minutes from downtown Burlington, Lake Champlain and Mallets Bay. We offer free Wi-Fi in our smoke-free modern rooms.
We checked into the Motel 6 a bit early. Our room was ready so they let us check a bit before 3:00pm. Our room was very nice and immaculate!! We took a quick ride to find parking near Church St. in Burlington. At the most it was about a 12 more minute drive and easy to get to. About 30 minutes after our return to the hotel we got a phone call that an elderly family member had been taken to the hospital. The hotel was very good about not penalizing us for both nights that we were scheduled to stay. I could absolutely understand losing one night charge. The manager and the desk clerk were very understanding about this! Some of the reviews for this hotel were not good and this is not the case. My husband and I are going to rebook our stay for June at this hotel without hesitation!!!

Family run 20 room roadside motel, located in the town of Killington. We offer clean comfortable accommodations in a motel setting. Our continental breakfast with homemade granola, assorted fresh fruits, muffins and coffeecake is served 7am till 9am. We also offer pancakes with Vermont Maple syrup. We are the home of Killington Coffee Roasters. Air roasted coffee at its best.
Robin and Stephen create a welcoming atmosphere to a truly classic roadside motel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with simple, old school decor. Breakfast and homemade goodies are served with a smile and the fresh roasted coffee is excellent.

We had a reservation and at the time of the booking we specifically said that we had a pet cat. We were told that was fine. Upon our check-in we were told that they don’t take cats. The motel relented and let us stay. The manager/owner said we had booked on Expedia and they should have told us that the hotels policy was no cats. Clearly the ad for the hotel said Pets. When my husband got up to use the rest room in the middle of the night he hear a gurgling coming from the bathroom. Upon going into the bathroom to take a shower in the the morning, he observed what was fecal matter coming up from the drain in the tub. He dressed and went and got the manager. Upon his arrival the manager cleaned the tub (no gloves) turn and said we were okay. We asked about the shower curtain, was he going to change it out since it had been in the tub and wet. We said we wanted a new room, he said no since we had the cat. He was unwilling to change rooms. He did say he would reverse the charges for our other two nights that we had booked for our stay. Needless to say, our vacation was cut short. There was no I’m sorry, no attempt to make this right. He never even said he would call a plumber.

My wife and I have been staying here since before Jen and Dom became the owners. We travel quite a bit and we always have a great stay when we are here. They have made many improvements to the exterior and to the the rooms. Their hospitality is second to none every time we stay here. We spent Easter weekend there and two of the nights there were only two units rented. We did not expect breakfast on those mornings but when I opened the door to drive for coffee and breakfast they had delivered hot coffee and a bagged breakfast that included homemade muffins. They even added some juice and snacks for our grandkids who were visiting. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything needed for for a very relaxing vacation.
