During the Civil War, Knoxville's Mabry-Hazen House served as headquarters for both the Confederate and Union armies. Today you can visit the house and other historic homes in this eastern Tennessee city. Among Knoxville's other attractions are museums, a zoo and World's Fair Park, site of the 1982 World's Fair. University of Tennessee sports draw lots of fans, as does the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. To see Knoxville from the water, take a leisurely riverboat ride down the Tennessee River.

Room was clean and it was in a good area. There was a man sitting on the balcony drinking. No big deal. Then he started smoking weed and the AC unit sucked it right up and blew it into our room with 4 kids. I told the front desk, and they could only tell the man to stop. By this time, the room stank, it was hot (from turning off the AC) and I’m livid. Called customer service and they said they would open a “case”. Left less than 1.5 hours after check in and offered a 25% refund. I’m still fighting for a full refund.

We won’t be staying here again unless improvements are made. Conditions didn’t measure up to their advertisements or photos displayed. Unattractive interior. Barely met minimum standards of health and cleanliness.

Ordered a king, got two fulls. Blood stains on top sheet and cigarette burns on the fleece sheet. TV doesn’t work. Doesn’t smell clean it smells like someone tried to cover up a dingy smell with a clean smell. Spend the extra $50 next time.

The two ladies at the check in desk were super friendly and helpful. One of the staff recommended a nice buffet down the street. Rooms were nice and very clean. The internet was slow and did not have a password access. One of our 4 electronic devices (tablet) stopped working correctly (malware?) and also did not function at home. I had to rebuild the Android Tablet OS. I would still gladly stay here in the future.

RUN..We had stayed here 2 years ago and it was clean for a budget motel. Felt safe and could take our dogs. Then same time of year as before 2 years later this had all changed, the first room had dog urine in 3 places all over the floor. Smelled bad was supposed to be non smoking but didn't smell like it. When I went to complain the housekeeper had the audacity to accuse me of letting my dog pee in the floor. I explained that if it was my dogs I would have cleaned it up. We got moved to another room which was also dirty but not as bad. It was late at night and we had no choice so we went to the Dollar store bought cleaning supplies and literally wiped everything down in this room including the walls where people would touch and doors. Then follow we mopped the floors with a mop and bucket we had to purchase. Shower was moldy so we cleaned the toilet just to use it. This room was so disgusting. I did not want to let my little dog run on the floor because I was afraid it would get him sick. We made the best of a really bad situation and the manager never said she was sorry just that I shouldn't have to clean my room. The night staff when I complain just looked at me offered no apology or solution. So when I spoke to the manager the next day all she said is that she would give me my money back and talk to the cleaning crew.. I guess that's the least you can do but on top of it it was 4th of July weekend so my vacation was ruined. I had to overpay the last minute for a new hotel the next day for the next three days. If you're thinking of going to this hotel don't. It has turned in to the dirtiest place and on top of it there were people in the parking lot smoking crack and sitting outside their hotel rooms drinking and smoking pot. We found crack pipes on the ground near where we were supposed to be taking our dogs to use the restroom. It was the most scariest hotel I've ever seen!!!! ...RUN RUN!!!

This hotel is something you’d see on a true crime documentary. It was dimly lit outside at night, small lobby, handmade signs around the property, no elevator for a 2 story building, and the smell of cigarettes and weed all around. The staff didn’t seem to have a problem with anything as they were oblivious to how check in worked and required 2 people to run my credit card. There was no WiFi password provided at check in or in the room. We had to haul our luggage up to the 2nd floor via the stairs and the only food offered was from a vending machine on the ground floor. The room reeked of cigarettes despite being listed as a non-smoking room, designated by the sign on our door. The linens had cigarette burns in them and 2 out of 4 pillowcases were ripped and burned. There was hair and grime in the bath tub and sink. When I tried to call the front desk for clean towels it was discovered that the phone in the room did not work and didn’t have a line in for it to work anywhere in the room, rendering it to be a cheap paperweight. There was no cell service in the room, nor internet so there was no way to contact anyone from the room, probably why everyone we saw outside was on their phone and in their pajamas. The A/C didn’t work well and could only be felt if you were right next to the unit, so the room felt stale and muggy. We woke up early just to leave early so we could shower at a different hotel. Needless to say, a property that bad reflects poorly on the owners, employees, and quality of service. This was a stay that we will never forget in the worst of ways.

I had reservations at Quality Inn and when I arrived I was told they didn’t have a room. They charged me 12000 choice hotel points and said I was a no show. I notified Choice Hotels about the problems and was given a case number. I never received my points and was never contacted by customer service from choice hotels. Please consider using other hotels. I travel extensively and will never use their hotels again.

There was blood on the sheets and mold in the bathroom. When we told the guy at the desk he said we could clean it up or get our money back within the hour. What hotel makes you clean your own room and is completely rude with you at the check in?!

Cleanliness of the rooms terrible. Couldn't walk from the bed to bathroom without your feet turning black but the staff was amazing. Was a good location but needs to be updated for sure. We travel for business and it was a good location but wished I'd checked it the rooms prior to booking. Had a great rate but I see why now

I should have read the review prior to booking this place. We were in The States doing a tour, basically booking the next hotel the night before when we could but because of delays, roadworks etc, we never had much time with this one. It was dingy, hookers sitting around outside in cars, and the rooms had a damp, musky smell. The baths were old and black, and it about cost me a divorcee with the wife after she read a review from the Lady from Springfield Ohio. We would have been better and safer parked up in our Jeep.
