In Seattle you simply can’t skip the Central Public Library – a modern architectural marvel of glass grids, unusual shapes, and a “book spiral” that climbs four stories. Stroll over to Pike Place Market to visit the original Starbucks and play catch with a fishmonger. In the heart of the city lies Chihuly Garden and Glass, which will dazzle you with its colorful and delicate works. Glide to the top of the Space Needle for panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges and Puget Sound.

It's not a long walk from the Locks over to this little statue. It provides a brief snapshot of local native culture, as well as being in a fairly scenic location. The statue itself is situated in sort of a random street corner courtyard, so it doesn't have any parking of its own.

It is right next to the Chihuly Gardens and Space Needle so you will almost certainly walk past it during any visit to Seattle. Great to see, take a photo and admire; but for most people it'll be 5mins and then you're done!

Just walk down the street and there it is. by one of the colleges. Stopped here then on our way to Kurt Cobain's house. Great walk. We bussed back to downtown.

An 18-foot tall stone troll that lives under the Aurora Avenue Bridge.
The Fremont Troll is a mixed media colossal statue, located on N. 36th Street at Troll Avenue N., under the north end of the George Washington Memorial Bridge (also known as the Aurora Bridge). It is clutching an actual Volkswagen Beetle, as if it had just swiped it from the roadway above. The vehicle has a California license plate. The Troll is 5.5 meters (18 feet) high, weighs 6,000 kg (13,000 lb), and is made of steel, rebar, wire and concrete.

In a city full of art, this moving statue was very cool. It sits outside the secondary entrance to the Seattle Art Museum and right across from the Harbor Steps. Definitely worth a stop.
