A beautiful group sculpture, well situated near Parliament, celebrating the significant contribution of five women to the history of Canada. A timely reminder of the part women have played in the creation of modern day Canada. Information boards provide short biographies of the five plus a number of other influential Canadian women. Don’t pass this by without giving it due attention!

This was very moving.. - We left a poppy on the tomb of the unknown soldier,, it was in Sept. - We took many videos, of the statues, plaques, depicting WW1 and WW2, Korea, Vietnam, etc., to the present... - They have areas where you can sit and contemplate/reflect on those terrible times where so many lost their lives, so we could be free.. - It's a must when visiting Ottawa, and while you're there, you can watch the changing of the guard..

Easily noticeable at the junction of St.Patrick street and Murray street, it is a wonderful dedication to honor Canada’s peace keepers.
