Copacabana Fort caters to the tourist who’s in search of a great view of Rio along with learning about Brazilian history. Entrance is quite inexpensive and one can easily spend couple of hours learning about the military history of Brazil and then take great panoramic pictures of Copacabana Beach overseeing the Sugar Loaf in the background.

The tours are conducted by guards/soldiers and ours had interesting stories to share about the history of the fort. Can be challenging to understand if you don't speak Portugese. Beautiful views of Rio and the drive there is fun with plenty to see although the roads are narrow in places.

The Brazilian Numismatic Philatelic Museum (Museu Filatélico Numismático Brasileiro) - MuFiNuBra has in its collection letters and official documents since 1698 and a wonderful Numismatic Philatelic collection. The material on the Internet is only a small part of what we have. It is only the beginning of the work, which we have prepared so far.
