Chile's Valle Central, a verdant valley tucked between the Andes and the coastal mountain ranges, has a mild climate and moist soil perfect for grape growing. Made up of four distinct wine regions, Maipo, Rapel, Curico and Maule, the area is criss-crossed by well-traveled wine roads. At the northern end of the valley is Maipo, the oldest of Chile's wine regions, famous for its Cabernet Sauvignon. At the opposite end is Maule, which still grows Pais, the first grape brought to South America.

Hotel Las Majadas, un lugar ideal para desconectarse, descansar y vivir increíbles sensaciones.
Ideal for breakout and breakout-type work meetings with small groups The experience of the contrast between the modern hotel building following the lines of Oscar Niemeyer and the palace building is unique. In addition, the palace gardens can provide the ideal environment for conversations and reflections.

Cabins fully equipped with kitchen and implements, air conditioning, heating, outdoor pool, bedding, towels for the bathroom, barbecue grill parking, wifi, own down to the Maipo River and spa services (relaxation massages and jars with hot water). They are located 1 hour from the city of Santiago and near to the main tourist attractions of Cajón del Maipo.
The people there are very friendly, the appartments are nice and cosy and the hut tub was amazing. Would definitely recommend and come back! You can also go trecking near by and there is even a ski resort near by.

I bought a promotion for a weekend in this hotel but sadly I couldn’t use it because a very sorry situation. I asked if they have room for certain dates for book a double room and they answered “yes, we have availability for that weekend”. I mentioned if I could go with my baby of 2 months and the answer was that they need verify their policies about it, because they do not accept children under 12 years old, ñ but the guy that was talking to me wasn’t sure about babies, he said some thing like “yes I think that babies can stay at the hotel”. I thought that he will contact to me briefly to confirm the information with (I guess) his/her boss, but the answer came till the next day in the afternoon, saying that they accept babies under 3 months, so it was ok for me. But the irritating situation came after, he said to me that the hotel was full now for the weekend that I wanted, and offer me be in the “waiting list” for those dates. This is an unacceptable situation, if I booked at the start for those dates and they do not reserve a space because the doubt about if I can stay with a baby, they should reserve a space till they clarify the information. I feel sorry for the hotel because it’s seems a very nice place but the guy that answer the phone and answer the emails doesn’t show much interest in have good manners neither respect the potential guests.

Rooms are very cold, the insulation is extremely defficient. The owner clearly doesnt have a clue about the hospitality business, Because as soon as you get there, even if you have a confirmed reservation they will force you to buy a "service or activity" and if you don't buy, you will be mistreated. Not recommended. You can get much better rooms and service for simmilar prices around. Totally not worth it.

No vayan alli.

What a wonderful stay. Myself, my wife and my kids travelled to Chile and stayed at this hotel for three nights. I have nothing else but positive things to say about it, the food is fantastic, accommodations are great, the owner, Christian, is wonderful. We had a very nice and relaxing time, picked fresh fruit from the orchard trees, had fresh eggs from the hens, had the freshest vegetables on the table each day prepared in their own kitchen. Wow!!!! Thank you Christian!!!!

Los Queñes River Lodge & Cabanas is happy to invite you to enjoy the most beautiful Andes views of Central Chile. We are located in Los Queñes, a small mountain town about 200 km south of Santiago. With easy access you can enjoy amazing views, great walks, wildlife, birds, two rivers and the amazing Andes Mountains. Pool, hot tub, rafting, and cabins right on the river.
Beautiful place. The cabins face the river or the mountains, so they all have beautiful views. We went in autumn so the leaves were changing colors and mountains with a bit of snow. Cabins are spacious and warm. Open kitchen so no one is left out. Nice deck with BBQ. We used the jacuzzi at sunset, with a view of the mountains. And it has wifi and for those who like watching TV , I finally found a place where most of the channels are available. The owner is a "gringo" who came to Chile with his kayak and stayed. Cool dude. Always available. Nice place to chill out and relax. Take walks and you can drive over to the Paso Vergara which connects to Argentina. This time of the year the passage is closed but it's totally worth taking the trip up the mountains. Dirt road, drive cautiously. You can take your own food. Basics can be found en Los Queñes. They have @2 places to eat, nice typicall Chilean food. Overall very nice place to stay, comfortable, cozy and warm.
