Excella is a suite style hotel located near Ubon city center. Our rooms have a condo or suite type set-up with a separate living room, dining area and bedroom. The dining area contains a microwave oven, refrigerator, sink and dining table and a small collection of dishes, cups and silverware for your convenience.
The room was not the same as on the advertising photos but similar. I can't complain about the room. However, I have no idea why the breakfast was rated that high. Nothing was fresh made. Once prepared, just kept warm. Toast was of the lowest quality.

Very good deal for the price. The room was renovated recently so it was modern and looked good, and was clean. The only bad things were there were noisy guests in the hall around 4 AM and you can hear incoming airplanes.

This lovely little hotel consists of only 6 rooms. All the rooms (terraced houses) have a direct view to the lake. Directly outside the rooms there are tall trees and flowers, where you can enjoy your morning coffee and cake outside at a little table and also enjoy the splendid view of the lake. The owner is a very kind old granny who will do her best to accommodate you and make you feel welcome. Rooms are a bit small and furnished with old Thai wooden furniture. Bed mattress is a bit to the hard side. The hotel and the furniture and the tv and the aircon/ fans are not new, but it all has character and atmosphere. Bathroom is clean and basic with a shower and a toilet. The hotel has actually changed its name to Rimthan View Resort. There are restaurants and cafe’s nearby along the lake. We experienced no noise issues during our stay and had a good and quiet night.

Good hotel, not far from the airport. Nice and clean room. Ok bathroom, where the shower wall should be higher to avoid water splashes everywhere. The restaurant food was average with a bit high price. Wifi was strong. The one and only big complaint and no-no for this stay was that I got a very indecent proposal from one of the staff during my dinner at the restaurant. This staff apparently saw me as a single male guest and this person just chocked me by whispering, when this person was doing something nearby where I sat, that the staff can arrange girls to come to me for the night and the staff also told me prices for the different kinds of girls. I pretended not to hear this person. But what an indecent proposal to say to a guest! Well, this put my rating from Good to Poor! It is absolutely not what I wanted to hear from a hotel staff. Please stop with this!

Everything is basic-nice. The rooms are clean and basic, the location is fairly central, the staff are friendly and unbothersome, which came in handy. What you get for the price is great and I highly recommend it for a few nights stay in Ubon.

I really liked this hotel. It’s great value for money, considering all that you get. Our suite was really spacious (!), tastefully decorated and very clean. Comfortable! It is evidently a relatively new hotel. The surroundings are quiet and tranquil and there is a lush paddock next to the hotel with cattle. You might want to request a room next to the paddock. The included breakfast is more than sufficient. Aside from toast and fruit, there were three hot meal options including omelette, noodle soup and rice soup. I would recommend the rice soup; it’s very tasty and filling. For lunch and dinner, you’ll have to make your own arrangements. Probably nobody will tell you this, but a major shopping centre (Central Plaza) is just around the corner (45 baht taxi fare). Definitely worth a look. Seven Eleven is a bit too far to walk. Be prepared to catch a taxi. Dogs in the neighbourhood are scary, which is another reason not to venture out on foot. Some points for the management to consider for future improvement: 1) An espresso machine could really add to the experience. Short of going to the local shopping centre, good coffee (i.e. non-instant) seems hard to find; 2) A dinner option downstairs would save guests going looking for food. Alternatively, devising a delivery service for the guests using external providers could work equally well. Of course, these are just suggestions and they won’t stop me from returning. Thank you Come Pang for a very nice stay indeed. I’ll be back next time I’m in Ubon.

Panhouse apartment located in the city of Ubon near international airport. Nice and clean room with 24 hours counter service. Free wifi and parking lot.
Testé en long séjour.
