Hidden gem in Hua Hin
Reviewed By AnakinVanStayed here for 2 nights before the 2020 countdown and we really liked the hotel. Located near the Hua Hin airport, it is a bit hard to find and about 10mins drive before reaching Hua Hin City. There is a section of road leading to the hotel which is unpaved, but once you arrive it is truly a hidden gem and there is a convenient parking lot which belongs to the hotel and is safe. The location is very quiet, seemingly set around a housing area and a dead end road. It's fine for anyone who has a car but I can imagine using public transportation would be a bit challenging. The hotel itself has only around 15 rooms, some on the ground and some in a 3 storey building. We stayed in their best room right at the beach, seafront poolside I think it's called, which was truly seafront (there are only 2 rooms like it). The room itself is not big but the bathroom was spacious. Design is black/white and relatively modern and,most importantly, clean and quiet. The pool is not large but sufficient and was salted rather than chlorinated which is nice. Buffet breakfast was pretty good and I don't think they offer lunch and dinner but there are several local restaurants and we wanted to eat out in town anyway. The nearest convenience store is a Family Mart which is located by the main road. No issues its service and everyone was quite friendly. I'd recommend this hotel for a quiet beach front stay in Hua Hin. Very good value for money for those who want a beachfront stay but doesn't want to break the bank!

Reviewed By PSt0rmWe stayed in places 4 times as expensive as Baan Maka around Kaeng Krachan and none of them half as good. The staff really understand what you came here to see. Nature and animals. They cater to that. The food is good and simple Thai food. The rooms are clean and sensible with AC and good bathrooms. Everything you need, comfy beds, clean sheets, and lots of outlets. But the location is the best. Total wild forest and only 15 minutes drive from the national park. Unlike every other hotel we stayed at around here, this one is DEAD QUIET at night. No roosters, no barking dogs, no thumping Thai techno music. Total peace. They have all kinds of nature spotting tours available and arrange everything for you. They speak English, and have an amazing comprehensive guide book written by them to explain all the nature spotting options. There are night walks and kayaking on site. We woke up at 5:30am for a private trip the very top top of a peak in Kaeng Krachan national park. It is unbelievable. Our guide found dozens of gibbons, langurs, hornbills and even a sun bear! IN THE WILD. Tips for the trip: If you also take it, wear long pants and take a hoodie. It is FREEZING. Also, bugs. Take sandwiches. Limited food up top and by the time you get there, you have been up for hours and will be starving. Take water too. Take a hat. Take a long lens for your camera. Don't miss out on all the animal ops. Don't hesitate to book this place if you want nature at its best.

The host did laundry for a is reasonable price and they have free bikes. We spent most of her time at the beach in Hua Hin

Reviewed By PEET040Cha-am sea is where I've been and I'm impressed every time I go. both people and places of interest Everyone is very welcoming. And the most important thing is that it's very close to Ratchaburi, what I like most is the sea at Cha-am. The water is clear and the food around it is delicious. Housing is cheap.
