Ancient civilization gets a tropical beach twist in Mui Ne, a resort town in southeast Vietnam. Formidable Cham towers seem to keep watch over the visitors who come here for the epic kitesurfing or to frolic along the sand dunes. Candy-colored fishing vessels bob gently in the waters of Mui Ne Harbor, where you can buy steamed seafood that’s literally fresh off the boat.

We stayed in the garden for one night and we absolutely loved the accomodation. Everything was clean, a big room, lovely swimming pool and the staff was so friendly and helpfull. They helped us book a bus, even called to the bus company to get information for us. It's a great place to relax, we would go there again right away! Also the backpackerbar right in front is Nice to get a drink.

I have stayed at Viet’s Hotel, and would not recommend this place to anyone. The owner is very disrespectful and solves problems at hand by raising his voice at guests. My friend booked the room till the 2nd of February, but due to unexpected personal reasons we had to leave on the 30th of Jan. I have informed a lady on reception on the 28th of Jan and asked her if it’s possible to be reimbursed for the 3 days (as we have paid for our stay till the 2nd of Feb); she said it’s no problem, and told me to come back the next day. When I came to speak about the matter in the next day, the owner was there himself. I’ve repeated what I’ve said to true lady the day before, and he started yelling at me right away. When I asked him not to raise his voice at me, he started yelling even louder, almost dragged me through the front gate and told me to get out. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. Frankly speaking, I didn’t have my hopes high on the reimbursement, I was not even pushing for it, and simply was just asking if it’s possible, and the reaction from the owner was shocking. The room we’ve stayed at had problems too: when my friend moved into the room on the 23rd of January, it didn’t have hot water. The owner promised her the water heater to be fixed in a day or two saying the delay was caused by Lunar New Year on the 24th of Jan. I have joined my friend on the 24th of Jan, and It’s true that city was a bit slow on the 23rd and 24th, but on the 25th all operations at other places such as restaurants, shops, cafés etc. went back to normal. No one came to fix the water for us, though, and we had to use the cold water for the entire time of our stay (we vacant the room on the 30th of Jan). When I spoke this matter to the owner, he yelled at me, saying that I’m a ‘foreigner’, ‘don’t understand anything’ and I am a ‘bad guest’.

Great little room with WiFi, en suite, fridge and air con. Owner very friendly and we booked our tour through him also. Only issue was it's down a dark alleyway so you'll need a light if you are returning late in the evening. Great location and cheap so would stay here again.

There is an abundance of Vietnamese restaurants in mui ne. This family restaurant serves tasty dishes that are NOT saturated in MSG. They know how to cook good quality natural Vietnamese food. If you like the classic Vietnamese dishes like scallops, morning glory, grilled squid then this is the place for you. It’s also a very clean restaurant. All at exceptionally low prices.

Did stay there for a few weeks. Nothing especial: everything is half broken. Half broken kettle, half broken stove, have broken power sockets, half broken fan. Even the floor tile is halfbroken. The cleaning is not regular. It can be done once a two three days, or once a week, nobody knows the schedule. A lot of mosquitos and insects. The worst thing the owner Thuy gets money with one conditions, then she can change these condtions as she wants. For us, we came and clearly said we are going to stay till 8th. But for some reason she changed the conditions, and forced us to check out one day earlier. The worst thing it was last day of our holidays: so she came and answered my question about this situation with stupid grin: "You go back one day earlier". Greedy rat.

A super friendly Guesthouse in Central Mui Ne (Ham Tien) with 8 rooms, Bar & Restaurant on site. Across the road from the South China Sea and Kite Schools and other watersports. Great location being only meters from the Hahn Cafe Bus stop and walking distance to numerous bars and restaurants. English, Italian and Vietnamese staff to welcome you
Karen and Sam are great hosts. The small hotel has seen a few years but it‘s clean and the rooms are off the street and quite. Karen makes a very nice coffee and was very helpful! Can only recommend this place.
