Bounded by the Karakoram and Himalayan mountains, Ladhak is the largest province in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The landscape of Ladhak, a high altitude desert, is defined by craggy, barren cliffs and plateaus. Ladhak is a favorite among adventure sports enthusiasts, offering unique adventures in trekking, mountaineering and white water rafting. While rafting options are available on both Indus and Zanskar rivers, the Zanskar course is more difficult and exciting. The trekking options range from short, day-long walks to visit monuments or monastic settlements to long, trans-mountain treks involving weeks of walking and camping in the wilderness. Ladhak celebrates a numbers of monastic festivals - annual events of the major monasteries primarily in winters. The month of September, hosts the Ladhak Festival, that gives a peek into the richness, depth and pageantry of Ladakh's centuries-old culture, traditions and folk heritage. One can witness the best samples of the region's performing arts, Archery contests and the Ladhak Polo Cup.

Nezer Holiday Inn, situated in the heart of Leh town, just ten minutes walk from the Leh Bazaar. The Guest house is surrounded by Snow capped mountain ranges, which is visible from every window of your room towards the South the mighty Stok ranges (6145 meters); North the highest motorable road Khardongla (18856 feet). The highlight of the Guesthouse is that it is run by the local family, you have the advantage of experiencing the insight of a local Ladakhi family. All the meals are served in the local kitchen, cooked by the family or if you wish service can be extended to your request too. The Nezer has a total of twelve well furnished rooms with twin sharing; Eight rooms have the facility of private bath/toilet, followed with four rooms with common bath/toilet. 2 Luxurious suites, nicely designed restaurant, coffee shop and a well stocked library, the guest house became a favorite place to stay for Diplomats, foreign journalists, Adventure travels and Film Makers all across the world.
Best 3 star hotel in town. We stayed here 2 days and it felt like home. The best thing about the hotel was the hotel staff and the owner. I would recommend all the groups heading to leh and give it a try to nezer holiday. Would have stayed longer get if my holidays allowed me to do so ?

Rude, Their tariff is not fixed, it changes according to their moods, Mr. Nasir ali is associated with this hotel who is a real cheat and loots customer, would suggest not to go in this hotel and never do any booking with LEH TREK'DI Adventure which is run by same person (not safe for couples, family)

This is family run guest house with 10 deluxe rooms. All rooms were provided with traditional style with modern facilities such as cable TV connection, free wifi with well furnished with modern facilities, intercom etc. Traditional foods items are served with demand and all foods are prepared from fresh owned garden.
The guest house is very neat, clean, peaceful & lovely and is run by a Ladakhi couple. The owners are educated, very caring, cool, humble, friendly & helpful. This is a peaceful and tranquil abode best for small families and elderly couples or anyone who is looking for a break from the noisy world. This is a very economical and decent place to stay. Someone is always there to tend to your needs and serve hot and fresh food, just like home. They offer a wide range of vegetable dishes. They provide comfortable neat beddings, very clean blankets and pillows. The view is very pleasant from the big windows of the guest rooms. Rubber slippers are provided by the guest house itself to wear inside the house. Parking space is there for guests. It felt like we were so many miles away from home but on the same time were at home itself. We will never forget the warm hospitality and helpful attitude of “Team Lehling”. It was just like our second home in Leh :) We are grateful to Mr. & Mrs. Dorjee, without their help our Ladakh trip could not have been such a success. Three cheers for "Team Lehling" P.S: Getting down to the main market takes only 10 minutes but going back to the guest house is very tough to climb up. So it is best to hire a Maruti cab available on every street of Leh main market to Lehling guest house at Rs. 200 depending upon the season.

This tranquil Resort is location in the Valley opposite Diskit Valley. One has to travel for atleast an hour to reach this place from Diskit. Pros: 1. Brilliant location offering excellent views of the Valley 2. Peaceful and tranquil 3. Great food - courtesy Himachali cook. 4. Away from the hustle and bustle of touristy spot 5. The rooms are earthy and comfortable. Cons: 1. Far from the nearest tourist attraction. 2. Avoid this place if you cannot stay at Resorts where you might be the only couple in the entire property! 3. Entire village receives electricity from 7 to 11 in the evening. Carry an Led torch if you cannot sleep in pitch darkness! 4. Avoid if you need creature comforts more than the lap of nature!

This property is located right at the heart of Leh very close to the Leh Main Market. The owner Mr. Wangchuk made sure that we remain comfortable during the entire period of our stay at his hotel. Food was great and freshly cooked. Travel agencies are located just outside the hotel premises. Staff was polite and the ambiance was perfect for a holiday.

The hotel was good, food was average. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The building is still under construction. They got some rooms with good views of the Leh palace. Located very near to the main market of Leh. 5 minutes walk. Some good hotels offering traditional food is there in the market.
