Me and my friends had a last minute plan to Langkawi, one of of my friend suggested that we stay here for a night. However all of us underestimated the accommodations first, upon arriving we were greeted with an awesome hospitality by the Malay receptionist who can speak fluent English. We were then showed to our room and were astonished to see how comfortable and pleasant was the room and we had to extend for another night. We also had our food in the restaurant which serves awesome breakfast and dinner without us having to move around to find for food. Finally, the other guest that has been staying there together with the owner has been very friendly and accommodating on all our basic needs. Cheers to the staff in Cactus Inn and restaurant for making our stay a pleasant one and we will definitely return there once again and promote about it to those who wants to come to Langkawi to stay here.

We are on holiday at Langapuri Inn at the moment. This place is on the beach and in a lovely setting, with awesome views of the sunset. We are in the new building and our room is large with a good view. The room is cleaned daily if you put the "please clean" label on your door. The breakfast is very acceptable, with cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage beans etc + you can ask for fried eggs, omelette etc + the chef will do this for you on request. The staff are lovely + very helpful and we are very happy and pleased with the choice we made. Thank you to all at Langapuri for making our holiday so wonderful. The 3 ladies from the UK.

We decided to give the place a try as we have never experienced living in a traditional village. It is less than 10 minutes drive from the airport and Cenang Beach. We were greeted by Mdm Azlina (and also her cat name Mama), the owner of the place and gave us a tour around her properties. To our surprise, each house has a bathtub which overlooks the magnificient paddy field. Each chalet is decorated with classic theme and gives that feeling of coziness. The perks of coming during low season is we have the entire place to ourselves. Mdm Azlina's hospitality is truly remarkable and treated us like family. Highly recommended for those who wants to experience living in traditional village and appreciates motherly hospitality.

Rooms are spacious and very clean . Very near to eatery , shops and Cenang beach . The staff is very nice and helpful ! On the day of checked out , due to heavy rain , we forgot to take the walking stick , the staff rushed to our car and return it to us . Not only that , on our way home , she called to inform us that money was found on one of the rooms . After verification , she told us that the money would be bank in to our account. It is very heartening to know that she is very honest to return the money . I must commended her for the integrity she has shown .

I was not staying in this property but can only tell here about the scooter rental. Addy and Kashif are super friendly and helpful when I was renting a scooter for 2 weeks. If something happens to the scooter which is not your fault they reacted immediately and helped me out - and I was a rookie driver not knowing how to start the scooter :) Very nice great service even when I was not their guest, that's awesome!

The grab taxi from the Airport was 10 Ringgits (£1.80) for the 8km journey to the Idaman motel (we didn't tell them that we don't have a car) near the Cenang beach. Located a short walk to the beach , numerous restaurants and bars and shops (Langkawi is a duty free island).. Very friendly check in and they helped us up to the room with our bags. Big airy clean room with large bed, clean linens and towels and very good aircon. Small balcony overlooking the road, with 2 chairs. Fridge provided. Shower just average. Good wifi and clean outdoor pool with sunloungers. Cold soft drinks available to buy, or free water in reception. Overall excellent value for money.

We were a group of 7 so we booked the two floor bungalow and it was excellent!! Though dont have any restaurant nearby and shops and sight seeing are at a distance but still at the budget we got the bungalow everything can be sacrificed.. Friendly staff and very co operative .. rooms had all amenities from refrigerator to utensils for cooking even... Fully satisfied...

Nice and quite place at night. Suburban area or Kampung area. There is a pool. About RM7 by GRAB to nearby Dataran Chenang which is a tourist spot in the night. There is a Nasi Lemak and typical Malay food outlet nearby.

This is the best place to stay. It is just minutes away (walking) from the busy street, but still very close to the beach and action. We could do everything on foot. The rooms are big and clean. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to everything else around. We spent hours on our terrace, just chilling and enjoying the tranquility. The owner is amazing! He is very friendly and helpful. If you are a cat lover, you will be charmed by a friendly cat who is just waiting for you to pet him. Lovely, lovely! Our suggestion: wine and pizza on the beach for the sunset!

Corrie Chalet is set back from the beach less than 100 metres with gardens and other chalet to the left and right and adjacent to the just a few metres away from different companies, the rooms was a good size with 2 large double beds, bathroom was OK clean tiles, good shower, small sink and toilet, no toilet paper, no shower gel or shampoo, no mirror in the bathroom, only small soap and 2 nice soft towels, bed and pillow was very hard, but I slept well, brand new Panasonic air-conditioning was excellent, also no need to switch off when you left the room, there was a small fridge that kept my very cheap beers cold (4 for less than £1) and ltr vodka or gin whisky between £4 to £6 only at the large duty free shops in the resort by the sea life aquarium, not at airport duty free 60 to 70 ringgits, compared to 20 to 30RM at pantai cenang Langkawi resort duty free, the room itself needs a fresh coat of pant its looking a bit shabby, there is a little balcony about 2 Square metres with 2 chairs, no complementary water or toiletries like a most hotels do nowadays on 2 little bars soap, there was a nice new kettle, small flat screen TV with digital box, only about 12 channels a d none of them was worth watching, I was there for 4 nights nobody came to clean the room ser at all, not happy, no room service for 5 days that's disgusting,
