The world's largest coral reef system, the Great Barrier Reef stretches almost 1500 miles into the Pacific from the tip of Queensland. Designated a Marine Park by the Australian government and a World Heritage Area by UNESCO, the reef is home to an extraordinary abundance of species and habitats. Snorkeling, diving and fishing are rightly popular along the reef, nowhere more so than on the Whitsunday Islands, where the silica sands and aqua waters of the Coral Sea create the perfect beach escape.

Quiet, exceptionally clean, staff are friendly and helpful, both pool areas are cool and inviting. Cabins were roomy, very clean and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. Close to town without the noise. I loved the hedges dividing each unit a bit of privacy which was unexpected in a tourist park. The gardens are exceptionally well maintained with an abundance of flowering plants and a variety of natives. Would definitely recommend staying here, I know we will everytime we're in Bowen.

Everything we hoped it would be and more. All the extra details such as being walked to our villa, provided a map & talked through the highlights, fresh milk in the fridge, quality soaps & eco friendly items throughout. The villas are secluded and the cafe on site is wonderful with lovely staff and amazing homemade cakes & meals. The villa is immaculate, the gardens make you feel like you are in another country. We can’t wait to come back in summer to enjoy the pool. Thanks for a perfect few days.

Quiet, peaceful and secluded yet Mission Beach Rainforest Motel is located within a couple of minutes walk from the magnificent main beach of Mission Beach, world heritage rainforest, restaurants, bistro bars, takeaway food outlets and shopping outlets. It is ideally centrally situated.
I was expecting the motel to be getting a bit tired as it had been a while since we had stayed. It was better than ever with the pool improved and everything neat and clean. The position in town is ideal and the setting gives a feeing of being in a rainforest. If you want to self cater there is an open kitchen with everything that is needed. It is handy taking a shortcut into the main street and it is only 5 minutes to the beach. The price is very reasonable. Looking forward to staying again.

Escape 1770 is the only Boutique Resort in Agnes Water. The view from every Suite is breathtaking. Escape 1770 is an Adults Only Motel. No kids Allowed. Each private suite at Escape 1770 is independent with its own Bathroom, Air Conditioning, undercover Car Park, Large Screen Tv, and private court yard.
A beautifully located small motel with only 4 rooms. Very helpful and friendly service, immaculate gardens, and stunning view. Be aware that due to location TV reception can be intermittent Our suite had a main room with large queen bed and a second room with two singles. It was peaceful and quiet but only a short drive to local restaurants

The Best Budget/Mid-Range hotel in Innisfail. The service upon sign-in feels on par to that of an expensive romantic restaurant. You'll find this cleanly motel is cozily tucked away in Central Innisfail within walking distance of a supermarket, plenty of restaurants and a few bars. The manager and/or his daughter provide very good service upon sign-in and personally chauffeur you to your room while and explain how to access all of the amenities the motel has to offer such as free wifi with decent if not a strong connection with decent speeds along all rooms. This wifi connection makes up for the lack of a dvd or bluray player if you bring a laptop and a hdmi cable to plug into the provided flat screen tv. The network speed will easily allow you to use any video streaming service such as Youtube or Netflix at 1080p with no hitches to entertain your kids or spend some quality time with your loved one without expanding an overkill amount of data.

Sadly I booked The Zen Den for 3 nights accommodation prior to the last Brisbane Lockdown. Naturally I had to cancel the booking, (and giving enough time as per their instructions on bookings) used the Zen Den accommodation website. My request to cancel went unnoticed, twice. But the money for the coomodation was still taken out of my bank. WORDs of advice.....phone the reservatiuon desk for any changes as attention to detail is not a priority with this accommodation. The money was taken out of my bank for non attendence from my Australian account but the reason given for this was that as I was living in Thailand they couldn't contact me to address my cancellation email...... So again I say...Their attention to detail is sorley lacking. So be warned.

The place was close to Cairns Airport, easy to find and next to a pub. The room was typical 'car out front' motel type. There was no one at reception when we arrived but were checked in by a member of the pub staff. She was very pleasant and explained the shortage of staff that every business was experiencing due to COVID. The room was clean and more than adequate for the 1 night. We were woken by other guests at 2 am, but this is obviously no fault of the motel. The pub next door had a few customers and a limited menu. It's so hard to judge anywhere in the times. The motel did nothing wrong and provided what we wanted, hot shower, tv and wifi that worked. Macca's was next door, so breakfast was available if you wanted it.

We have stayed here regularly for 6 years or so, on our way to & from FNQ where we stay/visit family. Sure it's basic. BUT bonus....it's clean, quiet & totally fit for our purpose. Previous workers in reception were always super welcoming & in Dec 2020 the new staff were equally so. Family travelling north/south often stay here as well.
