Mamaia is a popular beach resort on the coast of the Romanian Black Sea. The fine white sand beaches are unusual for this part of the world, so tourists flock here during the summer months for a tropical experience that’s close to home. Crush Beach is great for people-watching and water spots. At night, the area throbs with club goers and beautiful party people.

The room was ok, with a huge and comfortable double bed and a different bed for our 6 years old kiddo. The sheets clean, the bathroom with everything needed, clean. And also the phone is a piece of art and such a curiosity to understand for our boy. The location was also perfect for us as there is a walking distance (15-20 mins) from the old city, museums... The hotel looks very nice at the interior and it's a pleasure to take a little tour of it. I loved the interior of the hotel and the way it was decorated. Also did my kiddo :) There is a parking lot in front of the hotel. It is true that it's a little bit small, but it's perfect for a city center parking lot. In the room there is a minibar, 2 glasses of beer, a kettle, but nothing else more. No tea, no coffee, no cups. We stayed from Friday evening till Sunday. During our stay nobody took our garbage out. We also had some issues with the breakfast on Saturday, but the things got better on Sunday. If you order coffee and want to take it in the room and enjoy on the balcony, you have to pay an extra tax of room service. We were prepared of having a noisy room as the hotel is in the center of the city, on a large boulevard. But we also had noise coming from the rooms near us. The people were talking and it was as they were in our room, with us. Taking into consideration the location, the cleanliness and the hope that the things will get better, I would give it another try.

Last sunday evening we went to this restaurant for my birthday, two very dear ladies guest and I! After being in another place, more famous, a few meters from them and being been treated in a very unkind way! My dear followers, even if they had have the best food in the world, I would never stay there anyway. Instead, speaking about this "Leon Beach", I have to say (to be honest) that I do not remember any kind of flavor, as I was so angry but, feeling the opinion of my friends, it seems that the food was good. And, anyway, one thing I can say, frankly, that the people of this last place were really kind persons.

In our room was a lot of ants on the floor. We bought 3 nigts and unfortunalety we had to canceled one night. Payed by card. After first night we informed owners of our cancel. They refused send to back money for one night. For us is this theft of strangers money.

We stayed here in August 2019 and while it is not a 5 star location obviously, with a few details fixed, this hotel could be easily and anytime rated higher. Our opinnion, peace of mind and a perfect stay. Very big and bright room. Careful attention given by all the persons from the hotel. Clean. Close location 20m to the beach. Everything else is also close and there are full options around to eat at any price and at any time.

My whole experience after 5 nights spent there was like the title says, not bad. Not good not superb just not bad. Will make this short: Pro : 1. Location - few meters away from beach ( pretty dirty beach , not hotel's fault ) , you are at the border of Mamaia with Constanta , you will want to visit Constanta, maybe Mamaia too, close to main attractions ( Dolphin house and some wild animals reservation ) , a water park ( which is dodgy btw ) , the aerial tramway ( worth a try ) You will probably want to eat in Constanta too , much better choice of restaurants, prices a lot better, service better than Mamaia . Pretty quiet nights, not much music from local clubs, a plus if you need quiet time. Rooms - good size , I would guess around 40 square meters, wooden floors, decent AC Staff - helpful, welcoming. Cons : Breakfast is very poor. No buffet , if you are in a hurry , you will wait for your ordered eggs, etc. It is very basic ham/cheese/jam/veggies, dodgy coffee. Cleanliness is very poor as well, towels with holes and stains from washing machines, bathroom dirty in places, missing shower curtain or wall . Besides the change of towels I got no cleaning in 5 days, if they did any, that was not cleaning in my book. Pool is very small, not heated. No elevator, building with only 3 floors, yet uncomfy with big luggage. If you leave your windows open you might get a fresh fried fish smell from the restaurant next door, but depends , on how the wind blows :-) High speed internet connection, even on the beach next to hotel. Conclusion : nowhere near the boutique hotel experience, the hotel is a decent 3 stars, not even close to 4 stars standards. Even so if you can get past the cons and you get it a fair price might worth a visit. For me at the high price I paid cause in August is kinda hard to find something in last minute, I'm sure I can find better at that price if I book earlier.

Our stay at this hotel was not pleasant at all. You can feel the communist air inside the hotel and also among its employees. Pros: its location&parking place, clean sheets and bathroom, clean and nice towels, good prices at a-la-carte menu (you can eat&drink well with 15 €). Cons: terrible beds&pillows, old furniture, poor in sharing toilet paper and soap, huge room prices. The cleaning staff does not take your used glasses. One door from our shower fell. Also, there is an old lady who works at the restaurant as a waiter and she doesn’t know how to be polite, doesn’t know what means to smile, she always wants to get a tip and she doesn’t know how to make her customers happy and pleased. She made multiple mistakes and brought us food or drinks that were not ordered and we had to pay for them. Furthermore, I ordered once a chicken salad, the meat was raw and many ingredients were missing from that salad. This hotel does not deserve the 4* gradation. In reality, it is situated between 2* and 3*. The prices for one night stay are huuuge, after seeing what it has to offer (202€ for a room with a double and a supplementary bed).

The best place to relax if arriving late in Constanta and if you are not into city life. The place is tucked in but you will spare yourself from the city noises and you will have an excellent sleep. The comfort is equivalent of a 3 star hotel without climbing out stairs and worry about snoring/ or else ;) too loud. It is meant to satisfy the requirements of families travelling with young children (beautiful backyard with an orchard, well equipped outdoor kitchen, gazebo, etc). It is also perfect for tourists who are in transit (motor bike tours or for weary backpackers). You won't be disappointed by the hospitality of the host who will wait for you no matter how late you might arrive (great flexibility). And keep in mind, aside beaches, bars, and hotels, there is a lot to see in that part of the country (just ask the host).

EN Read such a real evaluation (see all the pictures carefully): Tax evasion (with a fantastic audacity: "if I knew you put it this way ..."), the receptionist, disturbed by the insistence of the request for the payment receipt, offered us another receipt, invoiced to someone else. Accommodation conditions for maximum 2 stars with indulgence (I attach some pictures from the room - although it looks from the '80s - I failed to photograph the bed cover - they are indeed from August 2021) Mold in the shower, toilet paper really touching the wall, pexal pipes visible through the room, never ever cleaned ventilation, unsafe bathroom (missing) doorknob handle, probably mounted from another door, towel rail (other than appearance) broken on one side, refrigerator from the golden age ('80s), same for furniture, and what can' t be seen in the pictures, 1 socket next to the bed was removed from the wall and another 2 sockets positioned at about 2.5 m (accessible only by climbing on the chair) probably to discourage electricity consumption.
