Le personnel est toujours prêt à rendre service avec une gentillesse incroyable. Situé entre le temple bleu et la maison noire, il est excentré, mais avec uber ou grab pas de souci. Chambre double à 590 THB avec frigo, TV et balcon. Très bonne option.

Reviewed By tonyrochdaleI booked a one night stay at Kanlaya Place in Chiang Rai as I was doing a border hop at mae sai and was looking for reasonably priced accommodation in a good location. This great guest house surpassed my expectations where I found friendly staff and a nice clean big room with all the amenities needed. I have no complaints whatsoever about my stay and would highly recommend this guest house to anybody. I look forward to my next visit here.

Reviewed By 892juliamWe stayed 3 nights at Na na doo house with our 2 kids 5 and 8 years old in january 2022. They loved it (and we loved it too!) : Trampoline, pool, play house in a tree, swings, bunnys... The dream!! And a family room just next to the pool. The breakfast is excellent, waffles, eggs, toasts sausages. The owner is really nice! The town is a few minutes away by car but you need to have a car, it's the only thing. We wish we could have stayed longer and the kids often ask when we go back, maybe one day :)!

Comfortable, clean, and cheap!
Reviewed By perennialtransientNot only does it have this holy trinity of a travellers' requirements for a place to stay, but I would also add: classy, and cultured. I stayed there whilst over visiting a friend who lives in Thailand now. Only stayed a few nights, as I was essentially staying with my friend, but was chased out of his house by his conniving cats, and their vicious dander, a couple of times! It is well located, in a lovely quiet area, that is also near the centre of Chang Rai. It's within easy walking distance of the night market, and has plenty of eating places, and snack shops, (and of course a 7-11), nearby. The place is owned by a local charitable organisation, that puts the money back into the work it does for the local Hill tribe people. The guest house itself is attractive, with a friendly, (and blissfully air-conditioned), reception area, adjacent to a lovely little dining area, where you can have your breakfast, (that's included in the price). The hallways are spacious enough for patio tables and chairs, and are nicely decorated, with some local artwork adorning the walls. Gives an impression of roominess, and comfort, and I could see why some of the guests were happy to spend time out there. I was on the second floor, that was easily reached by a shallow staircase. The room itself was hotel quality. Tastefully decorated in a contemporary fashion: Tiled floors, dark wood furniture. The bathroom was a large, nicely decorated wet room, with attractive tiles. The facilities were great as well. I could try and poke holes by saying that the towel rail in the first room I was in needed fixing, and there weren't many channels on the tv, but that would being persnickety! There was great wi-fi, with an ethernet socket supplied as well. The air conditioning was extremely efficient. The room had mini fridge and a kettle, with bottled water, and tea and coffee supplied, and the bathroom had all the basics you needed, (shampoo, shower gel etc). Have to say that overall, the guesthouse was a wonderful haven! The staff were lovely and friendly, the place was comfortable and attractive, and it was very well priced; especially considering that even though it felt as warm and friendly as a guesthouse, it provided hotel quality accommodation! Definitely would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Chang Rai.

Reviewed By Smythe2013What an experience. Staying in rural Thailand with such excellent hosts that couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast and fresh coffee by the lake every morning was fantastic. The accommodation is three separate huts which serve a purpose and were comfortable enough. Great walks around the area. Fairly inaccessible to C.Rai without car. Don’t expect the ritz!

Located in the country side and surrounded by rice fields, A private house with four rooms allocated for guests in a seperate zoning offers a peaceful, relaxing setting. Guest are allowed to use most the area except the owner session.

Chris who speaks English fluently is a top man,he's so friendly , ask him anything, the house is clean and the beds are very very very comfortable, you will have a fantastic nights sleep ,rooms have modern TVs on the walls, amazing terrace looking over the lake . Close to everything you need Big C,Makro ,airport 15mins , 7/11, restaurants ,bars university. Carl Liverpool.
