Casa Monte Verde - good choice near Brasov old center
Reviewed By Liviu Constanti... MI had 1 night trip in Brasov and I choose Casa Monte Verde because it's close to old Brasov historical center, Tampa mountain and other attractions. It's quiet place, even it's near the street, clean and nice personnel. One bad thing is that you have to find parking spot around, as are not available at this hotel.

Reviewed By daviem174A party of 6 aged men. On arrival in Bucharest we were asked to transfer from the pension to the residence ambient. Happy to do so as this gave us twin rooms instead of doubles. Good basic hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast but we had to walk round the corner to the pension to get it. Not really a problem. In May, the lack of air con was no problem. It may be an issue in summer. A fan is provided. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I’d certainly stay here again

Reviewed By VVG1984Just a simply hotel. It is ok for 2-3 nights. If you ask for a double room with one bedroom, they will give you 2 single beds which are attached together. A very small balcony, for two persons it is not enough space.

I agree it’s more like a hostel than hotel in that there was rarely anyone at reception and no staff , however our room, or small apartment, was perfect for a family of three. Lovely little balcony, and really spacious. Full facilities in the room. Would definitely recommend.

Reviewed By RulaKNIt’s gorgeous- beautiful design and lovely area. I wish I had stayed longer than just one night. There are 6 rooms. It’s perfect for groups. Parking on the street outside was easy And the price was excellent. I would definitely go back. Actually I hope I go back. Negatives: 1- I have kids with me and a toddler so there are definitely some safety concerns to be aware of. Stairs with opening on railing, as well as an open railing on the Terrace where they could easily fall through. But we managed just fine but had to be extra cautious. 2- the roads to get there are very tight! You have to be a good and confident driver. But it’s fine!

First of all, it's the location: just a 15-20 minutes walk from downtown, with free parking spaces right in front of the building (for me, this is important). Second, the rooms ... or should I say the apartments: large, clean, high ceiling, with kitchen (fridge, coffee maker) and very strong WiFi connection. Did I mention the interior garden? For all these, the price the property asks is excellent value for money for a traveler.
