Perfect location for the old town.just two minutes to the cathedral . Front of house staff were really helpful too and friendly - lovely modern rooms too . Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice . Underground parking was less than a 5 minute walk and hotel gave a discount on the overnight charge . Would definitely recommend staying here

We arrive to the restaurant; which is also a hotel, around 3:30PM and we had to wait about 20' to be seated and maybe other 5-10' to order our dishes. It was really busy because it was a long weekend in Spain and we did not reserve. We had a beer at the bar while we waited for our table. In Spain nobody rushes you to leave the table so although we waited, we did not complaint because it is all part of the experience. We went for the menu of the day; 15€, that included a rather large variety of dishes to choose from as starter, main course and dessert. Beside, and as part of the price, is included the wine; a whole bottle of it, and water. Yes, all that for 15€. I did chose as starter a type of corn flat bread with caramel coated onion and blue cheese; but the typical from the area, very tasty. They are called "Tortos" and let me add that I've never had them before and I sure will repeat because the mix of flavors it's a magical trip to the sense of taste. As main course grilled steak and Spanish(French fries), it was really good and well done. The meat is not from the supermarket and you can definitely taste that. The desert was a Spanish crème caramel anisette. You can really feel the aniseed in it. I just can tell you that any dish you choose from it won't disappoint you. Service is excellent, you can eat at the front patio, the bar area or the restaurant itself and you'll be enjoying not only the food but the nature, although is right by a main road, you still feel surrounded by green. A place I'll visit again and again! Summer lunch is on the list to do in Restaurant La Parra!

Very nice spanish traditional room, with all facilities and a balcony, with a great view overlooking countryside. Downstairs was a shared fully equipped kitchen. Free wi fi and a friendly welcome. It was close to village facilities, cafe restaurants and a small supermarket.

If you want to try local an typicAl Asturian food... this is just the place I tried CALLOS A LA MADRILEÑA... the best ones I ever tried before. Please don skip this plate...and you are not ready for this one, as the owner Maria or any other person on the restaurant Dishes are amazing, but service is the best in ESPAÑA

StYed at this Hotel on second stage of bike trip from Santander to Santiago de Compestela. Hotel was very well located in terms of being near the heart of the city and close to harbour. It was however in a vert narrow street with no outlook whatsoever. You felt you could stretch across and reach house opposite. It was without doubt the smallest room I have ever been in but clean and comfortable. The manager looked after the bikes, took payment there and then and asked us to deposit key through letter box when we left. No facilities whatsoever apart from a vending machine in small hallway. Ideal for a backpacker overnight stay. €50 for the room

If you're looking for a small place full of character and charm this is the one. Beautiful rooms, that have been lovingly renovated, located in a quiet out of the way traditional village. Very friendly and helpful owner....well worth a visit.

I stayed here while walking the Camino de Norte. You check in at the bar and then the rooms are above the bar. It was a little outdated and simple - but it was clean and comfortable enough. For the price, it was well worth it. Note that while it’s on the Camino, there’s nothing else around... and they don’t serve food until 8pm. The food and drinks were decently priced. I would stay here again while on the Camino.

My husband and I stayed here one night because we wanted to start our hike in Cares gorge early. Our room -#1 - had twin beds, clean and it even had a small bath tub. There wasn't much storage but we just brought what we needed overnight anyway so it was fine for us. It could be a problem for those who are staying for a few days. We didn't have dinner or breakfast here. We wanted a full dinner, which they didn't serve; we also wanted to have breakfast before 8:00 but they didn't open until 8:30. We ate at the Mirador nearby (I reviewed that too) We had very little interaction with the workers but the man who checked us in was friendly enough. We also paid when we arrived because we weren't going to be there during their normal check-out time. The pension has a parking lot and we left the car there until late the following evening after our hike This is a very good pension for a night or two. This area is so beautiful that it is really worth visiting.
