We decided to give our son a trial flight for his birthday as he wants to be a pilot. We settled on Soar because the lady on the phone was super helpful and talked through all of the options. We were lucky that the weather on the day (his birthday) was good, apparently, there are lots of cancellations if the weather isn't good, which is understandable because the planes are pretty small. The instructor, Steven, was amazing on the day and talked our son through all of the different aircraft components. Our son had THE BEST BIRTHDAY ever and we were thrilled with the dedication of the instructor and the value for money for such a great gift.

The Johnston Collection is a multi award-winning and critically acclaimed museum, that invites creatives from the broader visual arts and design communities to respond to the Collection. The Johnston Collection is centred in an historic East Melbourne townhouse and is known for its superb collection of English Georgian, Regency, and Louis XV fine and decorative arts, and objet d’art. The Collection is a gift of William Robert Johnston (1911-1986) to the people of Victoria. Johnston was a prominent Melbourne-born antique dealer and collector. His collection is displayed in a constantly changing domestic setting, his former residence, Fairhall. Sausage and salami making equipment, supplies and classes.Teaching traditional sausage, salami and cured meats making since 2003. Simple, fresh and preservative free.
I had a great time with Sausages Made Simple! I have done 3 courses with them now and every time the staff are so friendly and educational. In each class we are offered tastings of produce that we would be making. You do have to prepare some meats before going, then when you bring it to class the teacher will look over the meats to make sure they are on track for curing. The process is super hygienic and clean and is held in a proper prepared space. It is a shared class, so you do have to share activities with other participants, but it all is great fun to work with others that also love making cured meats! Whatever meat you bring in to prepare, you also take home with you to continue curing! Sara, the owner was a great teacher and was a wealth of information! Even when I was a little scared of my finished product over 4 or 5 weeks later, I called them and they were happy for me to bring it in so they could see how it turned out. And it was amazing! They are truly a great bunch of people that are more than happy to educate anyone who's interested in curing meats. I didn't feel pressured into purchasing any of their equipment or goods at all, but it was also great to see that they stock everything required for making salami, wine, sauce etc as well... and I would 100% recommend them and I look forward to my next workshop with them too! Loved it! Thanks!
