Just a five minute walk from the chairlift, Moorea Lodge is the perfect budget Niseko accommodation for those looking for comfortable rooms in Hirafu’s vibrant centre, just a stone’s throw from the town’s famous bars, restaurants, and main street.
well... the trip was nothing short of AMAZING. Jenna Jay made my trip easy and fun. She went the extra mile (literally) and drove me all the way to Moiwa from Niseko one day, because I missed the bus - what a champion! As for the location, its right in the centre of town, exactly where you want to be. And the beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and tidy.

Like all good snow holidays - it's dependent on the weather: Inches of snow, temperature, cloud, rain etc. All of these can sometimes boil down to luck. Fortunately we had all of these on our side. So our trip was already off to a great start. This was only enhanced further by our choice of accommodation. Cosy rooms, great location - 1 minute walk to the shuttle bus, and clean communal areas. A special thanks to T and Steve for making our trip so easy and relaxed. Unfortunately this is their last year running the lodge so can't comment on if such a high standard will be maintained.

Enjoy the warmth and hospitality of this Japanese Pension located in the heart of Izumikyo II, close to restaurants and bars and a short walking distance to Hirafu village center Only 1.5 to 2 hours by bus or train from the New Chitose Airport and Sapporo. Bed & Breakfast accommodation consisting of mostly western rooms with modern shared facilities. One apartment available with ensuite and kitchenette. Slowlife features the convenience of both the Hirafu and Hanazono free shuttle buses stopping right outside the front door for easy access to and from lifts, operating from 8.15am until 8.30pm. Slowlife is just more than your home away from home. Dinners, Onsen trips, nightlife and trips to other nearby ski resorts are all organised on a regular basis by your friendly hosts. The large common area provides a great after ski venue for a drink and a chat after another epic day in the powder and the free apres snacks are always a hit. Advisable to book early.
We had a great time at slowlife this year. Chado and the team welcomed our group and were very helpful with local knowledge of Mountains to ski and places to eat. Having people with extensive ski/ board experience allows you to get the best powder and make the most of your break!

Ramat is regarded by many as premier accommodation in Niseko. Our large western size ensuite rooms are an amazing contrast to the traditional small Japanese rooms found elsewhere. The lodge sports a 52″ LCD television with cable TV and extensive DVD library in the lounge area, bar & FREE pool table and set menu dinners in our restaurant that overlooks the magnificent Mt Yotei. With Ramat Lodge only a few minutes, less than two kilometres, away from the base chairlifts and just over a kilometre to the centre of the village the attraction of Niseko powder and its restaurants awaits you. With three different FREE shuttles services available (Grand Hirafu shuttle, our in-house and first tracks shuttle) you will not miss a second of the action whilst living in a seemingly secluded snow lodge retreat.
We stayed in Ramat Lodge for a week over the Christmas period. The lodge feels like you’re staying in a family member or friend’s own house. But what makes this place is the staff. Every single person who worked there was so kind and helpful and had such a positive impact on our stay. Although a little bit out of the main Hirafu town, the shuttle service to the slopes in the morning and the Niseko United bus, which runs every hour from the Midtown bus stop which is less than a 5 mins walk away, make the commute to town easy. We did walk it once but with the amount of snow we had while we were there it took us over an hour with two young children. Some of the normal features of the lodge weren’t operational this winter due to COVID so we would love to see it again in its regular state. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back for sure next time we are in the area.

My husband and I stayed at Alpine Central for two nights. Both Rhys and Jenna were incredible hosts. They responded to our emails promptly and were incredibly helpful and patient with our two young children (age 6 and age 2). While this is essentially a place perfect for your travellers and couples we felt comfortable here with the children and they certainly enjoyed chatting to everyone! Rooms are basic and the bathroom was tiny in the room we had but for the price and for only two nights it was great. We could have happily stayed longer. Location is great for Hirafu, the free shuttle bus near by has you in central Hirafu in less than 10 minutes. Breakfast is simple but tasty, scrambled eggs, toast and a variety of cereals. What more would you want?!

The Red Ski House is a warm clean Lodge with your Australian and Japanese Host you will feel quite at home ,just right outs side are Bars and restauraunts ,Ski lifts are 10 mins walk or 3min free shuttle bus ride away .Open all year round with the powder snow being the High light of the year your sure to have a great time .
Stayed at this place for three nights. Highly recommended it for the following reasons: - convenient location. It is walking distance to Hirafu Main Street, including shops and restaurants. - very clean facility. The shared bathroom is very spacious and feel more like a private one since I never ran into anyone taking shower at the same time as myself. - friendly hosts. Andrew picked me up at the welcome center on the day when I arrived, and dropped off my luggage at the welcome center so that I could maximum my 5 hours of ski on the day when I was leaving Hirafu. - delicious homemade breakfast. We had different western style meal every morning. - a shuttle bus stop is located diagonally across the street from this place, so it is convenient to get to the Hirafu base or gondola. Since I valeted my ski at the rhythm ski shop at the base, I opted to walk to ski shop in the morning, which is about 10 mins. There is an onsen at the Prince hotel on the Main Street, which is about 10 mins walk from the house. The hosts have a lovely dog, Junior.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hakuunso. It is very well located and close to the Gondola as well as Rhythm for ski/snowboard hire. They picked us up in a van from the welcome centre and also provided daily morning shuttle to the Gondola and Base Ski Centre/Welcome Center. The room was a very good size. It was spacious and the shower was very strong. The daily breakfast was good and the view of Mt Yotei was amazing. The hotel has male and female public baths that over look a nice inner courtyard where you can watch the snow fall. The perfect way to end a tiring day on the slopes. Definitely reccomend!

The Niseko Freedom Inn is a 16-room Georgian-style boutique hotel located on the exclusive Hanazono side of Niseko, just 200 meters above the Hanazono 308 Ski Center and lifts --- and next to the 18-hole Tokyu Golf Course. Personal service and attention to our guests' needs is by now quite famous. Just tell us what you want. Free shuttle to your favourite restaurants and onsens? Or a special shabu shabu dinner with us at the Freedom Inn? Special diet request? Apres-ski party in our lounge with a real Vermont-style wood-fired stove. Free booking in our private bath? We'll deliver.
Very nice and friendly staff that made my stay better. They provide shuttle to drive you around for dinner and also can help you plan your day. I liked the location. Its off on its own in a nice forest. But a 2 minutes shuttle (10 minutes walk) to the Hanazono lift. I found it very relaxing. They can also shuttle you around if you want to get out. Room is nice, I got a room with private bed room. Small but comfortable. Breakfast is ok, think of it more as complementary rather then a full breakfast. Sound insulation is not great, you can hear it when people and walking down the hallway.

A genuine and fabulous Japanese experience in Niseko, we had an enjoyable time and really appreciated the hospitality provided by Syunichi-san and his wife. The Japanese breakfast buffet and pork stew dinner were the best food that we had in Niseko.

I can’t believe my luck that I was able to get a room at last minute! The room was surprisingly big! I had a lot of room to move around even with my huge luggage opened fully :) Did I mention that breakfast was included? Simple but prepared right! If you don’t mind shared toilets and bathrooms (a small onsen included), it’s perfect for you :)
