The staff goes out of their way to accommodate their visitors. I would recommend the resort to anybody looking for a fantastic holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was our second visit to the resort and it will definitely not be our last.

The luxurious Kuganha Tented Camp and Spa is a tranquil safari dreamscape situated just 2.5 hours’ drive from Cape Town, where guests will feel a sense of exclusivity and serenity. The beautifully appointed tents are sensitively arranged amongst the thick wooded Acacia Karoo trees, with an inviting pool overlooking the Karoo veld with golden mountains on the horizon. Each tent offers a personal dining experience on the patio or in the private dining veranda - creating the most perfect setting for leisurely breakfasts as the sun rises over the Tankwa Karoo. Personalized itineraries offer guests the freedom to use their time at Kuganha to unwind as they make use of the private pool, the exclusive spa bungalow and go on traditional safaris that whisk guests onto the 10 000 hectare wildlife conservancy to view the main attraction: Africa’s exquisite wildlife. While on safari, guests will have an awe-inspiring occasion as they learn about the Cheetah rehabilitation and conservation project. Returning from an afternoon safari, guests are spoilt with a ‘welcome back’ drink, and guided to seat around the toasty fire while their ranger prepares a dinner feast. Evenings are spent listening to the sounds of nature, surrounded by the warmth of lanterns that light up the camp at night - while the Karoo skies open to a magical display of the Milky Way. Kuganha Tented Camp and Spa is a safari treat for the soul as guests experience the vastness of the majestic Tankwa Karoo.
My husband and I visited from 8-10 April. Amazazing experience and high-end accommodation. The food was of the highest standard. A very special thank you to Burger, he and Sanna went out of their way to ensure our stay was above any standard.

We have 3 self-catering cottages, 3 bed & breakfast rooms, 9 caravan / camping sites. In the scenic mountains of the Witzenberg valley, nestled in the pristine fynbos flora with diverse fauna.
It will be difficult to beat the feeling of trust and being part of the family, that we received from the friends made at Fynbos. It is a great experience of finding new jewels all the time. The facilities are kept in an immaculate state. Will be back with the kids.

Farm accommodation on the banks of the Breede River in the heart of the Witzenberg Valley. We are well placed to visit the towns of Ceres, Tulbagh and Wolseley. There are stunning mountain views, an abundance of bird life and a number of wonderful attractions in the area. For the businessmen we now have free Wi-fi in all units and TV in most units or on request. We are well placed to arrange small conferences in association with our neighbors. We all work well together and compliment each other with our various packages and could together handle most needs.
Our idea of a getaway is always privacy and tranquility. We had total privacy in our little wooden cottage. The creaking floorboards added to the rustic feel of the cottage. The only downfall, in my opinion, is the constant sound of traffic driving over Michell's Pass. Trucks hooting and gearing down most of the time. Always nice sitting around a campfire listening to the sounds of the fire crackling without any distractions.

We loved the location. The accommodation was comfortable. Needed a few more towels. Enjoyed the voucher to the Monk's gin tasting. The tap running in the bathroom was a bit annoying - needs maintenance.

It was our 7th year wedding anniversary, we wanted to try something different. It was a very lovely stay, something different from what we usually do. The tranquility is out of this world. It was like camping of some sort. It’s a pity most places around the area were closed on weekends. So we didn’t get to do much. But it was a rest we needed from the busy city life.

We spent 3 nights based at McBains and explored the magnificent scenery. The lodge owners, Justin and Ma'ayan, were gracious and hospitable and took us out on 2 of our days there. The first was a long hike to the most incredible series of waterfalls - absolute heaven on earth; and the 2nd was an easier rock hop to beautiful pools where the children jumped off rocks into deep, icy cold pools. The lodge is clean and comfortable and has all the necessary items to make for a comfortable and relaxed stay.

Hoogwater Farm is a working fruit farm with 3 self catering units: (1) Hoogwater Cottage (2) Hoogwater Farmhouse (3) Hoogwater Family House
This is the second time I have stayed at the Hoogwater Farmhouse. Each time has been very pleasant. The house is clean and well equipped. The area (a short beautiful drive from Cape Town), star gazing in the wood fired hot tub and the view from the front sitting area in the morning sipping coffee are all lovely features. Madri is always kind and willing to go the extra mile too, but very respectful of guests privacy.
